Kludgy interface. Pop-ups block the app and is bigger than the screen, so hard to close. No way to copy and past content from the screen to a search engine to look things up. No idea why this isn't an online tool, would be so much easier.

I am a big fan of TurboTax. It it an immense help in preparing my taxes. I also use it for what-if analysis to explore alternative actions and their impact on my taxes.

Sad that it has to be QuickBooks 2018 and younger to be able to upload, but not a big deal to put the numbers in. Great to have much IRS guidance at the fingertip so its easy to use and fill the schedules needed.

I wasted a lot of time working around the Special Depreciation Allowance software issue. After spending too much time figuring out what was right and overriding the software to get the fix I discovered that a fix will be available any day.

Not great as they didn't have an answer. The Program has a glitch on entering ownership shares and there is no fix except manual override and manual entry of amounts.

I used TurboTax last year and all the information was transferred to this year tax including the depreciation, so I don't have to look up and re-enter.

Not intuitive at all. Very difficult to navigate Foreign Tax paid 1116 as it generated 2 versions so I had to delete one. Now I can't figure out how to print and file my CO return. Why can't I e-File CO return?

I did the return manually, and the results were the same but Turbotax was much easier and it generated some forms that I did not know about. That makes me feel much more confident that my taxes were done correctly.

I had great difficulty printing my 2025 W-3 data in 2025 Forms. I spent 40 minutes on the phone to describe my difficulty to a Turbo Tax human. In two days it got fixed.

When filing my Form 541 for my Trust, in CA, Turbo Tax finaled my return saying I owe $23 in taxes...that should not happen as all of the income from the trust is distributed to the beneficiary, who pays the taxes on the income...
