I am a CPA and use Turbotax desktop Business Edition to prepare my personal Sub-S taxes. I find it to be straightforward, very easy to use and accurate. I recommend this to others.

It is too hard to find what needs to go where while you are entering data. Also, support is very hard to use - if you are not having one of the problems in the list, you're out of luck.

Would like to be able to do Hawaii State Tax but not available for Business. Also when trying to revise 1116 form it would not let me back into step by step to correct. I could only do it in sheets which took a while revise.

Good experience with Support while reporting an apparent problems in Turbo Tax Business software program. Also had problems accessing the Michigan Fiduciary Add On from my desktop application. Support was very helpful with both issues.

Confusing steps to complete Foreign Tax Paid. No help with electronic fund payment date for Foreign Taxes specifically the detail required for "various" payments. In general, the Turbo Tax Help was "No Help"

This year's edition totally fails on handling of Special Allocations. The instruction in step-by-step and in forms describe steps that don't exist. This was very frustrating.

I was struggling with downloading the state partnership software from thew Federal software. Intuit Tach was just incredible anhd worked my through it until we were able to download it and I was able to complete my LLC tax return!

The only problem I encountered was tying to change the Date Put Into Service on one of the vehicles. It wouldn't allow me to change it from the old vehicle to the new one. No easy way to make that change that I could find.

Still frustrating after so many years to have the error check complete stating no errors found, only to have the program find more supposed errors when attempting to e-file the returns.

Does not handle R&D tax credit at all. Does not import from Quickbooks Pro 2023. Intuit is going DOWNHILL on its software. Getting expensive as well. We are considering moving to other tax software in the future.
