front and back printing caused me to have to print twice. Software froze in several places. Hard to integrate the installment sale forms into the software . Could not use the online method. Could not figure how to view my forms and move back an forth between step by step and forms.

This is my 3rd year using TurboTax Desktop Software. Each year has not gotten easier lol! (I second guess myself & have constant interruptions so it makes it a little more challenging for me haha) This year I did make I believe 3 calls for help and was surprised but pleased to find each representative to be very positive, patient, understanding, & made sure they went above & beyond to get my answers or complete the task I was having trouble with.

Every year I have the same problems with TurboTax Business. It does not transfer over the correct asset and capital information, and I have fix the Capital Reconciliation worksheet by hand. Once that is done, then Income Reconciliation is out of balance, and I have to fix that balance worksheet by hand. Also, when I first run the Federal Error Check, I typically get a huge number of errors, almost all of which are questions on forms that were not filled out, because TurboTax did not ask the questions during the Step by Step interview process. Waste's a bunch of time manually entering all this information that should have been automatically entered in by TurboTax Business.

The application is very good, but it seems designed primarily for novice users. It would be helpful to have different user levels that allow experienced users to bypass repetitive questions. For example, I own 14 rental properties and have to go through the same questions for each one. A feature that allows users to skip or streamline these steps would greatly improve the experience.

Turbo Tax for business is fine. It does what it needs to, but I wish you would make this Mac compatible. I have two small trust to do and it is a lot of work to do this because this is Windows only software. Wish this was more like the personal Turbo Tax products.

Just love how TurboTax Business guides me through filing taxes for a family Trust. Explanations are given for anything I'm not familiar with and they match IRS information. This program was compatible with my desktop software. Managed to breeze through with zero problems. Was able to scan, save & upload a needed form to file electronically. TurboTax Business ROCKS!!

I've been using TurboTax's Business edition for over 15 years. It has discontinued FREE (included with the software) tax help from a tax expert. The step-by-step no longer asks about certain topics (e.g. adding business assets). The software has minimal guidance, when TurboTax offers a link to "explain this".

The software works, but it lacks some features. Here are some problems. 1. It doesn't import data from Quickbooks Online (QBO) 2. The Retained Earnings in QBO is different from TurboTax. 3. It only accepts dollars without cents. You have to compensate for fractional dollar round offs in multiple places. 4. The SSTB QBI adjustment has no tools. You have to come up with an adjustment amount without any help. 5. The California PTE credit has to be manually entered in the forms. It is only a few steps, but very unintuitive. TurboTax does not even mention this credit for S-corp operators. The difference could save the taxpayer substantial state income tax deductions from the federal income tax. 6. If you use SSN for a Trust, the software goes into an infinite loop of making you enter first and last name in CA 3804, and then making you remove them, again and again. It doesn't tell you to change SSN to FEIN, which fixes the infinite loop.

I have used Turbo Tax for 40 years. I find it harder to use in the last ten years. I used to be able to click on easily accessible help buttons for every step and they were accurate and efficient answers. Now I search for useful help in turbo tax and waste my time chasing your hard to find and ambiguous help. I spend hours having to google everything. A saw a coworker with normal accounting skills who could not navigate your program and ended up making so many mistakes on her taxes that cost her thousands of dollars and delayed her needed refund. When I tried to help her correct her tax form I could not believe how impossible turbo tax made it for her to correctly fill out the forms.

turbotax is being used for a trust and it doesn't download 1099 information at all. It has to be typed in. And it doesn't handle 1099 R info as it's own form. After using turbotax for personal for years, I'm really disappointed in the way the business software for trusts work.
