Purchased Business to complete a trust return. Had a little trouble figuring out where to record the principal distribution (having descriptions for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 would have helped me out). Also, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if I needed a Sch J based on the Error Check recommendation. The trust did not meet the requirements for a Sch J so surprised it told me I 'might' need one. Other than that, I'm glad I purchased TurboTax. I would not have been able to do this manually.

logging in 3 times while i am already in the program to do things like buying audit defense and signing up for advantage is a total pain. why can't you have one mfa,rather than three? why do i have to log in again when i a already logged in to buy something more from you. yuk!

to save time and research hassle, can you make prior year taxable income to populate the return during submission phase of fed and state tax return? available to independent business filers LLCs etc., fixed - sell- off shelf software for rental income/expense management software to buy? TQ

Software system has a glitch and would not allow me to purchase state filing. It was nearly impossible to get a person on the phone, let alone a knowledgeable person to help me. Wasted over 5 hours being sent in circles before someone finally knew what to do.

Using for filing a trust return. Software is not bad except that if you make a mistake and need to correct, so fields do not update properly. Frustrating and I ended up starting a brand new return. Could not delete the old return on the desktop software.

I use TT every year, but recently it was made harder to do this online. I wish TT would not make me get an Expert add-on for my Business taxes online. Also, Intuit double dips and makes me buy both Business and Premier for my personal taxes. I wish it was all rolled into one package that feeds into personal from the 1120-S to the 1040 seamlessly (maybe this is a feature that needs to happen in the future). I really hate having to switch back and forth from TT Business to TT Premier when doing taxes to ensure that my numbers match between both software interfaces, and that I didn't miss anything.

Very disappointed this year in this version of TurboTax for Business. I nedo use this for a trust to crate a K-1 for my return, and I spent literally a week's worth of time trying to figure out how to work around missed inputs on the step by step and correct misakes in the forms to get this completed. Don't understand how my use of this software was so poorly coded. On top of that, had to wait about another week to get a correction on the TurboTax side for the state's electronic filing. Trying to figure out a better option for next year.

After many years, this is the first year I used the live help service. I connected with a REAL person who answered my question (that the automated chat failed miserably), and also provided some useful insight, in no time! It was a great experience!

Terrible product. I bought this thinking it would make doing my taxes quicker. I had to manually hard enter through the forms in order to add additional members, despite the software saying there were "Add" and "Edit" buttons. Would recommend looking elsewhere or doing it yourself at this point.

The desktop business package was very easy to use. Our filing was not very complicated, but had to get it done and I was able to do it fairly easily and confidently using this package. Our only problem was that we are filing a 1041 for an estate that owns a vacation rental property in a foreign country. The system did not have an option for me to identify the address of the rental property as a foreign address. This creates an error message and would not allow me to efile. I am mailing in my forms, but I hope this is something that can be fixed in future editions. Also, OH requires a state return for a 1041, but it is not available in the package.
