I have been using TurboTax for years. No real problems with the functionality. I have a problem with the limitations on number of returns I can file. I help out family. That's it. As they get older, more have to file. I don't appreciate the limitations

Product has a bug validated by 2nd level tech support: CA 568 capital account "other increases/decreases" suppressed when federal small partnership exemption is checked — blocks e-file Multi-member LLC, TY2025. When I check the small partnership exemption on the federal 1065 (Schedule B, Question 4), TurboTax Business correctly omits capital account data from the federal schedules K, L, and M. However, this also suppresses the "other increases/decreases" fields in the CA 568 Member Capital Account Analysis, producing incorrect ending capital balances on the state return. California does not honor the federal small partnership exemption and requires complete capital account data. There are no CA interview questions that allow these adjustments to be entered independently. Attempting to override the field in Forms Mode produces the error: "Sch K Line K(d) other increase/decrease should not be overridden and changed for Electronic Filing."

I remain disappointed that all Intuit products are not be compatible. You cannot upload information from QBO to TT. Every year, there is at least one product glitch in TT that requires a call or chat with screen sharing to resolve. I usually need to escalate to next level help, because I've been using TT since the 90s and can resolve most basic issues that the average SD person understands too.

Quick zoom to find data source were woefully inadequate or just not there. Instructions were not clear. Couldn't go back through areas to make changes, like history. Worst TurboTax program that I have used. I have used Intuit for more than 20 years.

Instructions not clear. Even the instructions to leave a review are unclear. There was no way to see an overview of the forms because everything was focused on a few lines on a worksheet which meant there were no visual clues on how one line related to the next or even how a worksheet related to the overall tax form. The AI generated topics tried to guess what my problems was and decided my problem was 'interface', so I'll give them a hint. It's support. The support is obscure.

I am the fiduciary on a NY State trust; thus I have to file fed and ny state estate tax returns (estate = trust) Turbo tax is good on the federal form, but really really sucks on the NY form; every year there are multiple minor glitches and some major ones, that are impossible to figure out without hours of agony this year the ny form is so bad, I may need a CPA ugh

Easy and straight forward as always. I think most people's taxes are way easier than mine, but they pay over a hundred dollars to even do personal taxes when they just have a W2 and simply want their money back. They only do this because they don't understand how simple TurboTax can make it for them.

I needed to amend my Federal and Virginia returns for a trust. TurboTax would not file the amended returns electronically. So I had to print and mail the paper returns. Also, when TurboTax reviewed the state return it questioned the Tax ID and Trust Name 4 times, even though they had come over from the Federal return.

The product works adequately. A couple items are worth noting: 1) Input spaces are limited - 2 or 3 items/lines in some cases where several more are needed. There needs to be a better 'help' screen to let the user know multiple item should be entered directly onto the form. 2) This is an Intuit product and I use Quickbooks. I have historically used the desktop version of QB, but Intuit caused so much pain in terms of subscription cost and poor support for the product, they got what they wanted - I migrated over the Quickbooks Online (QBOL). I purchased this version of TurboTax as it said it would transfer files from Quickbooks. After my purchase and as I started to use the product, I was then informed that it cannot transfer from the online version of Quickbooks. To me, that was an horrific misrepresentation of the product. Absolutely without excuse - taken as an outright lie. On top of that insult, I then had to have someone hand-key all the operating information for the year. That cost me a fair amount of money. Had I known of the product limitations and attendant cost, I would have likely hired out my taxes to a third party. Win for you this year, but ABSOLUTE DISGUST on my part. Shame on Turbotax and Intuit!

TT Business said I needed to complete a form 1045 but when I searched forms for a 1045 it said there was no form 1045. TT Business said I needed an update to e-file yet when i tried to update the update started but would never complete. I had to manually download update from TT site and install. Bad QC and testing. Also very expensive!
