Very easy to use. One comment: on the signature page for electronic transmittal: it was not easy to determine if additional forms (940, 941, 944, etc) were required as there was no explanation of what those forms were (I'm not a tax professional - was just doing an estate tax return as executor of a will). Otherwise, for the very simple return i had to do, it did the job.

This is my first year using TurboTax Business (TTB) to prepare Form 1041 and Form K-1 for a trust left to me by my Dad. Before making the purchase I read all the reviews - positive and negative. I was put off by the number of negative reviews but decided to take a chance anyway. In general I found the software only moderately useful for my purposes and not a good value at all. I've used regular TurboTax Premier for my personal taxes for many years and -- for my purposes this year -- it would seem that TurboTax Premier would be a much better place to include preparation of Form 1041 and Form K-1. So many features included in TurboTax Business were totally unnecessarily for what I was trying to accomplish. I paid a LOT of money for capabilities I simply did not need. After paying $83 for TurboTax Premier and then another $144 for TurboTax Business I feel I payed WAY too much to prepare and file my 2025 tax returns -- and TTB could not even prepare my state tax returns for the Trust. I won't be buying TTB again in the future.

please make the TURBOTAX Business for Estates an online efile accessible version for next year. The DOWNLOAD process is horrendous each year and makes it take way too long and is massively frustrating. For the cost you should provide a much better experience.

TurboTax continues to up its game, making both personal, LLC and Trust filings intuitive and straight forward. It is easy to review subject matter on any given topic, and get answers easily. It provides accurate, reviewable documents, and is easy to review as you go, including what-if scenarios for future tax planning.

I understand that filling out the required information may be straightforward for professional accountants. However, when the application is used by ordinary users—those who purchase it for a simple small business and do not rely on professional services (which is precisely my situation)—I would say the program is not very intuitive. At the very least, it does not provide easy access to the tips and guidance needed when questions arise. And if such help is available, it is not easy to find. That does not mean I was unable to complete the process—which is why I rated it three stars. In fact, I was able to finish it; I simply had to spend hours conducting independent research to do so.

This was pretty easy to use but not as easy as doing it online. Since I didn't want to pay the $450 for an expert the desktop was my only option. I liked using this over the paper filing, but I would much rather use the online version and request an expert if necessary.

There was no way to attach my 990-B forms to the federal return. That required me to mail the returns in to the government which cost additional time and money on my part vs. e-filing. This funciton MUST be fixed or i will not use th product again in 2026.

I first tried the Turbotax Business online.....got thru all of my taxes, got ready to pay; then was only presented with th Turbotax Business with Expert Advise 2025 version, for $359.....I didn't use or need any expert advise; but was told only the Desktop version gives the option of NO expert advice....and the tax worksheets I had filled out wouldn't transfer over desktop! So I had to purchase the desktop version, download on my computer, then REDO entire tax entries.....

TT Business is quite different from regular TT offerings. It appears to expect a higher level of professional skill, which may be acceptable to its typical users. However, for a tax neophyte, it is relatively difficult to use. A bit more guidance would be appreciated, particularly because Intuit does not pull its punches when charging for the software and state add-ons. My situation was pretty simple. (And by the way the AI thing that is fiddling with this review text as I write is extremely annoying.)

I've used TurboTax for both business and personal taxes for about 15 years. In terms of improvements, it would be helpful in the software could improve its ability to complete forms by prompting me. Some areas, e.g., with the K-1 forms, I had to stop and do some research before I could continue. Ideally, TurboTax could take me by the hand to clarify. Instead, I used Perplexity AI to explain things to me.
