This is my first time using TT Business. I needed it for an irrevocable trust return and K-1. I was worried it would a lot less user-friendly than normal TT. But it was great. It focused on the Trust stuff and left all the other business complexities alone.

Works great, however it will not work with older versions of Quickbooks Pro. I used to use H&R Block tax software for my business and because of the frusteration of trying to get it to import from Quickbooks Pro, I switched to Turbotax Business, It worked great. However, this year it would not import form my Quickbooks Pro because my "version" is too old, even though I pay the subscription on Quickbooks Pro to keep it up to date. Its a Money racket!!!!!!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for my Sub S corporation for over 10 years and over 20 years for my personal returns. Information that was carried over in the past is not always carried over, requiring manual entries as I do not import from Quickbooks. This is annoying to me, detracting from the ease of use that I experienced in prior years

For the most part, this tax software for Business is easily prepared. However, although it told me a state return was not needed, when ready to file, it checked the state box to efile as with federal. Additionally, when asking questions, I would like to see the program take the previous year answers and populate it so less questioning for a lay person is necessary. Without this, I have to look up answers from previous year and re-key.

I purchased TurboTax Business - Desktop specifically because I needed to file a trust tax return (Form 1041). One of the reporting forms I received was a 1099-OID. I spent hours on the phone with various support agents, both product and tax specialist, trying to figure out where entries for a 1099-OID can be made. The conclusion after six separate conversations is that I couldn't make those entries under a trust Form 1041 filing. I cannot be the only person who ever had taxable amounts on a 1099-OID for a trust. Additionally, even though I specified early on that I was filing for a trust, there were business-related questions that did not apply and I did not know how to answer. I realize this is a desktop product that is supposedly going to be moved (about 5 years too late, in my IT professional opinion) to an online product like TT for personal taxes, but the product is clunky and slow at times.

In the past I have always Purchased the Business Tax Software locally and installed it onto my PC. This year NO ONE had the software in the stores. I opened the Website and tried downloading the product but the links kept sending me to the online version. After I finally got to the download page it had 2 downloads in my folder I hope I am not charged twice.

It was easy enough to use. If you have questions along the way you can just google them or check the Turbo Tax forums. Reddit usually had all the answers I needed. I also like the ability to purchase Audit Defense, just in case I get audited. I have 2 major problems that resulted in 4 stars instead of 5: make this downloadable on Macs and please have a combined home and business package that works for partnerships instead of me having to buy the home and business software AND the business software.

I have been using TurboTax for my personal taxes since its inception in the 1980s, as well as for my corporation since it was founded. Each year, my experience remains the same: I can complete my taxes quickly and efficiently, without any issues or obstacles. TurboTax is an excellent investment because it identifies all my eligible deductions and saves me a significant amount of time. Most importantly, I can trust that my taxes are completed accurately.

Have used TurboTax Business for 4 years and Trubotax Delux for the last 20 or so years. This year our business and investments brought us to 2 new states and into Ira and Solo401k investments. Specifically, IRA and Solo 401k ownership of a multimember LLC and purchasing properties in Tennessee and Arkansas. TurboTax gives very little guidance on this type of returns. The Tennessee and Arkansas state returns are vague as well. Once downloaded I found that they can both be completed non each of the state's sites for free. I realize my specifice tax return is a little more complicated than a standard 1065 but wish there was a little more help and clarity on the topics

Worked well for 2 member LLC that is not really a business, but a form of ownership for a family property. The property does rent out a residence and occasionally sells timber. One problem: when getting NY state forms, mistakenly got NY City forms as well.
