TT is likely the best program out there but it is far from a total solution for business taxes. If you're not familiar with tax filings and have questions regarding which forms are required for your business, seek professional advice. TT regularly overlooks forms required for my business filing. It constantly updates but seems to never be quite up-to-date with the latest requirements. If you have any special circumstances, seek professional advice - not advice from TT.

I Paid For Turbotax For Business But When I went to do my KY State Taxes It said that they did not have the form and It was up to me to try and figure out what needs to be filed. This is not good I expect that Turbotax should have a State Program for Business just like they do on Turbo Tax Deluxe. I would not recommend this to anyone based on this experience

Pretty straightforward for a 2 member LLC. There was confusing wording in some areas like the 1099-NEC entry, but the community forum gave clear answers. I wish there was a way to see the filled in forms EXACTLY as they will be filed WHILE you are working on them. The forms view is different than the final printed view so you have to go to the end of the step-by-step, save as PDF then view the PDF to see exactly how it will look when filed. Kind of a pain.

Help seems to be missing from the more complex subjects. I expect more than just to be referred to the IRS Form instructions (otherwise, what's the point here, just up-selling me professional help). TaxAct seems to have better embedded help. Last year I used TaxAct, this year I thought to try TurboTax Business. I may go back to TaxAct for 2025 Consumer product (Deluxe, Premier, etc) allow itemization of costs to be entered in a simple form that opens, and does the math accordingly. It let's you indefinitely add items and their value, which gets summed automatically (e.g., for adding up expenses). That feature is missing here.

Turbo Tax has gone down hill from prior years. No disk for loading program and problems installing from downloaded versions on Windows 11. Forms for filing W-2s on paper were not sent to IRS on time for approval. So can not print and file W-2 and W-3 at 1/11/25.

When entering a partner that was not an individual the program did not automatically convert the tax ID from a social security number to an FEIN. As a result, there were numerous error messages that took a long time to identify the error. Fixing the errors were not straight forward and had me looking at different forms to find the correct place to fix the tax ID.

I couldn't give you a 5 out of 5 because you discontinued physical disks as an option. I did not have any problems this year, but I've experienced some serious problems with downloaded software during the past 13 or 14 years that I have used your products. I purchase two of your more expensive products each year and nearly decided to change due to the "Download-Only" policy you adopted this year.

You still haven't fixed the software glitch on reporting adjustments to capital gains on the 1041 Trust Return. It does NOT ALLOW a loss adjustment (negative # required for input). Because it ONLY ALLOWS a positive number, it miscalculates the realized gain or loss. The ONLY WAY to get the correct gain or loss is to (falsely) adjust the cost basis. I shouldn't have to do this. YOU NEED TO FIX YOUR SOFTWARE! Run a quality assurance test on this and you'll see that what I'm saying is correct.

They can deliver this up to 48 hours after purchase. They do not indicate this on the website so do not order it late if you purchase through Sams Club. Also they have no control over the process. I asked for help to expedite and they had no resolution. Upon asking for a refund, they stood by their policy of no refund, which I would understand if they had made the no return policy clear, however it is tucked in at the bottom of the purchase. DO NOT purchase any downloads from Sams Club!

Still love the product after more than 20 years. I've noticed the last two years that even if an opportunity to decline the preparation of an extension is selected, that a review form (and the fact that it is incomplete) shows up in the review of the final tax returns just before e-filing or printing... even if the filing is occurring before the filing deadline. I note that during the review process, a form and an instruction always appears suggesting that the users checks for overridden fields. I've never seen an overridden field indication or other instruction of how to identify any such fields.
