It is stupid to ask me to register when I had to log into my Turbotax account to get my registration number auto entered when I installed the software! I refused every time I opened this program to register it, because you ALREADY had my registration. FIX this for next year.

This is an alternative to the online version. There is basically no difference and this option is hundreds less. Why? This is frustrating and I hope to find an alternative to your services moving forward. You get three stars for offering a business tax solution that isn't $650. But I have 2 business and unfortunately, I only found out about the desktop version until after the first business tax return was completed. Further, once of the forms I was supposed to provide an electronic/handwritten signature on did not take my signature. I have no idea why it didn't take a new uploaded document, but now I am worried that my tax return could be rejected. This is really frustrating.

I Paid For Turbotax For Business But When I went to do my KY State Taxes It said that they did not have the form and It was up to me to try and figure out what needs to be filed. This is not good I expect that Turbotax should have a State Program for Business just like they do on Turbo Tax Deluxe. I would not recommend this to anyone based on this experience

Business software still needs some work. It has saving issues and others that need to be corrected. It also wasn't able to roll forward from prior year, which was very big waste of time too. Im hopeful about next year because a .tax file was created in 2024.

This product is quite disappointing compared to Turbotax Online, but it still got the job done. I was very frustrated with certain aspects of the program. It wasn't as helpful for me as Turbotax Online for figuring out why the balance sheet wasn't balancing. Then, the federal tax calculations were rounding retained earnings down, and the state tax calculatons were rounding retained earnings up, so it took me a while of playing with the numbers to get them to match.

Form 941 is not Intuit's best work. The way the software handles distributions is very problematic, especially how it "defaults" to last years distribution amounts. Also, the software does a very poor job of explaining how to handle distributions in excess of taxable income.

I would have entered fewer stars if possible. You teased me with being able to import from QBO, but then would only import from the desktop version and sent me to QBO to pay you again for assistance when I already purchased this product. Next, the interview was abysmal - didn't remember any of my choices, endless loops of trying to sell me more services - felt like I was buying a low cost carrier airfare. Finally, the forms did not work and I ended up just deleting some that were reported to be necessary just to finish. I have been doing my own business taxes for decades and the product just keeps getting worse. I know you want me to pay for a person, but can you just make the product work?

We've used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years. This year, Turbo Tax Business was needed to process Federal and State tax returns for a Trust that my wife serves as a Successor Trustee for. Trust tax returns are tedious, but Turbo Tax had a solid solution for Federal and a fairly solid solution for the state. The Turbo Tax solution for the state in question (Illinois) did not provide e-file capability, which would have been better.

In general TurboTax Business - Desktop is easy to use. Uploading a PDF to e-file, however, was impossible. The Locate feature wouldn't show all folders nor all compatible file types. After trying several file types and lower resolutions, the files wouldn't show. I gave up and have to file by mail. Very inconvenient. What happened Intuit? This wasn't an issue in previous years.

It is my first time to use TurboTax to fill the 1120S, The software has some glitch that doesn't allow the correct business code to go through for the e-filing, which has created problems to stop the process during my e-filing. Moreover, the software of Home and Business scripts misleading. It indicates that it is for S business . After I entered all data and went through to the end, unfortunately, no return was generated. Finally, went through all troubles, I learnt that I need to go to business web to purchase Business software.
