Disappointed
Disappointed with the purchase, one of the grill top pegs was missing had to put an adjustable bolt in to take care of that, then a lot of the pre-drilled holes were very hard to get lined up. Would have returned it but had already discarded the box before we started to assemble it
We would love to get a little more feedback from you to better understand what all it going on. If you would reach out to our customer service team at 888-837-1380 or at customerservice@rankam.com
Great product…great price!!!
I had been looking at this for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. It was easy to set up has easy to use griddle levelers and the cover is easy to put on and take off…just remember to use the Velcro straps on the sides! Seasoned it and started cooking right away! So far I’ve made smashburgers, teriyaki chicken fried rice, Barria tacos and an incredible breakfast with thick cut bacon, French toast and diced potatoes! Everything was terrific and I’m a complete rookie!!! Lots of great YouTube channels to help you get started! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent purchase!!
Bought this flat grill for a Father’s Day present...and could NOT be happier with our purchase!! My hubby has wanted one for well over a year, we did the research on all of them, and had our minds made up on one...when lo and behold...this one showed up at Sam’s!! And, it was $50 less than we anticipated!! It works like a dream, with all the bells and whistles wanted and needed! The only thing that would make it any better would be to make it FREE!!
Be informed when you buy
This griddle is a good buy for the money. Be aware that it does need some modifying. The top is thick as any other maker, however it does not have any angle iron braces on the back to avoid warping. I have a name brand as as well and they put 3 braces length wise on the bottom to avoid warpage. This griddle actually burns a lot hotter than the name brand. I tested the heat with a heat gun and it reached 680 degrees. I added the braces when I bought it and have had no problems with it. I like the center grease trap compared to the name brand. The name brand with the front channel will drain the grease on the leg of the unit unless it is modified to direct it to a catch can. The cover is cheap and it will blow off. I have only had it a short time and it ripped at the seam on the left already . (5 or 6 removals at most) I would recommend this only if you can modify the top.
Thank you for your suggestions. We will get these to our engineers for future modifications and improvements.

It is goodish
It is pretty good. It wasn’t expensive but I do have a burner that doesn’t start up super easily. I’m sure if I messed with it I could get it working properly but I’m not super interested in putting any work in on a new grill. If I find out I messed up I’ll update review.

it is big, I don't know yet how efficient on gas my 1st use was kind of cold day but generally speaking it is well made will give 5 stars. I gave 3 stars has not been used as I suppose to( purchased in September 22). I am very confident with Sam's club Member Mark products
Love this griddle! Worth every penny and more...
Got a great deal on this at my local Sams Club in February. Finally, got a nice enough day to assemble this griddle and use it. All I can say is WOW is this nice! Better than my dual burner Camp Chef! Assembly was easy with absolutely no issues. I looked at both the Camp Chef 4 Burner and the 36" Blackstone, and this griddle beats the pants off of both... PROS: 1 The propane tank bracket assembly is well thought out, takes all of 2 seconds to mount the tank on the bracket, a real no brainer. 2 Although the griddle does come with some type of coating which appears to be a factory finish, I went ahead and heated this up to max for an hour, and added my own seasoning of Flax Seed Oil in 3 separate coats. It took about 45 minutes to have all 4 burners blazing with a surface temperature at 656 degrees, YES! Let me say it was very windy with 35 MPH gusts and the exterior temperature was only 58 degrees. Pittsburgh in March. Although it was really windy, this griddle only uses one igniter for all 4 burners, the burner performance was not affected by the wind at all, and all 4 burners lit up instantly and never flamed out. And there were some serious gusts. 3 The best feature of this griddle is the grease management system, it works like a real commercial restaurant griddle. There is a center hole close to the front edge, large enough so that all kinds of LARGE food bits, grease and liquids can be scrapped and directed right in, just worked perfectly. 1000x better than my camp chef griddle which always was a pain in the neck, always clogged up and always over flowed. The new Blackstone rear grease hole and unattached bucket did not impress me at all, and has all kinds of negative issues and poor reviews. At last someone has designed a properly functioning griddle which solves the grease management problem!! Clean up was a breeze. The grease on this griddle flows down into a solid steel pipe tube so there is absolutely no chance that any grease will go any where other than into the internal aluminum drip tray, which is nothing more than a disposable bread tin 4" x 8". Works like a charm and can be easily checked by simply pulling out a simple drawer at the front. 4 The thickness of the griddle is 3/16" or 7 gauge steel plate, the same as camp chef and blackstone. The cooking and heat distribution was uniform and well controlled. Having 4 solid sides of steel and no open channels or sides keeps all the food where its supposed to be with no accidents. 5 The cart wheels are clearly larger than both the camp chef or blackstone and allow the cart to move easily and can be locked. 6 The griddle supports have screw type levelers made of steel so you can adjust the pitch of the cooking surface. Although the griddle surface can be easily lifted off if you need to clean or adjust anything below, it does not appear that this griddle can be converted into a grill similar to the camp chef. But hey, what do you need a grill for when you got this amazing griddle!! Overall the griddle is well designed and built solid, definitely does not have that flimsy feel like the Blackstone does. AND it performs like a champ. The cooking surface measures 20" x 36" and is perfect for cooking almost anything!! CONS: 1 The two side shelves are large 14" x 19", sturdy and rigid, BUT they do not fold down, and detaching them is not a simple task. May not be an issue if you are going to build it into an outdoor kitchen island, or just decide not to use them. 2 There is no wind guard between the griddle surface and the grill cabinet below, basically the same design flaw which the Blackstone suffers from, but not as large a gap. Although the performance was not impacted by high winds, the one problem was the shelf placement, which is the same level where all the burner heat escapes along the sides. I measured the temp at the shelf edge closest to the griddle surface and it was easily over 115 degrees and heat was flowing across the shelf. Sooo, if you have any plastic bottles or bowls, or butter, do not put them too close, otherwise they may melt. This could have been easily rectified if the shelves were placed substantially lower. I will probably have to modify the sides with some aluminum or angle to deflect the heat away from the shelves. 3 The cover included is designed to fit the entire unit with both shelves and accessory bars installed, so if you are not using the shelves because space is at a premium or the unit is going to be built in, then the cover is basically useless and waaaay too large.
Excellent griddle for the value
I have had my griddle for about three weeks. Assembly took about two hours myself. I seasoned mine after wiping down the flat top. A lot of packing dust. Cooks nicely now. I highly recommend that you get a good set of metal spatula's and two squeeze bottles for oil and water dispensing. I have made breakfast food, shrimp, brat's, and burgers so far. Make sure you get a metal cover for the elements if you live in areas of snow and rain a lot. Make sure you clean it right after cooking so you can oil it for the next time you use it.
Initial thoughts after assembly..too cold to seaso
Just bought and assembled this beast. I own a 28" Blackstone, which I paid about as much for the 36" Member's Mean griddle ($200). Assembly took a little over an hour, and an extra set of hands would have made it easier, but by no means is this a difficult task alone. Kudos to the Engineer that designed this to go together with only a single type of screw! Make sure to use a screwdriver with a magnetic tip to make assembly easier, as some of the holes are in harder-to-reach places. The only real issue I had was with the grease trap funnel fitting kind of wonky at first, which didn't allow the griddle to full seat in the mounting holes. I only cross-threaded one screw, which I quickly corrected. For the money, it seems well made, and the grilling surface looks huge! Not sure if I'll like the center grease drain, but we shall see. Nice that it came with a plastic cover and a scraper. Overall, I give it an 9/10 on assembly. Once the weather warms up a bit, we'll get it seasoned and start cooking. More to follow.
Kurtho thank you so much for all the detail in your review! We are so glad you are enjoying your griddle!
