I liked the price and gave it a try. It was not difficult to put together. It took me about an hour. A couple of pieces require two people to put in place. It does not come with a gas tank. It uses the standard size which is easy to find. Unit self started easily as described in the instructions. It heated evenly. After seasoning that is burning some cooking oil on the grill surface it cooked well. I have not had any problem with the grill. I have had it about five weeks. I would recommend.

I had been looking at this for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. It was easy to set up has easy to use griddle levelers and the cover is easy to put on and take off…just remember to use the Velcro straps on the sides! Seasoned it and started cooking right away! So far I’ve made smashburgers, teriyaki chicken fried rice, Barria tacos and an incredible breakfast with thick cut bacon, French toast and diced potatoes! Everything was terrific and I’m a complete rookie!!! Lots of great YouTube channels to help you get started! Highly recommend!!!

I love outdoor cooking! I was very excited to receive my griddle. It took well over an hour to assemble, but the directions were clear and easy to follow. After assemble I let it set a couple of days before I fired it up . Upon hearing the griddle I noticed a couple places that appeared to be warped as the oil formed large puddles. Very disappointed that the griddle top would warp so easily! Another point of concern, but not really and issue, the front 1/5 of the griddle does not have heating element under it to reach those high temps. So this area will eventually heat but never be as hot as the rest of the grill. Other than the warping the griddle performs as described. If they can fix the warping issue I would recommend this product to everyone.

The grill top warped in less than 1 month. I would not recommend this griddle. The heat is not even but i could deal with that. The problem is that the top griddle surface is not capable of handling the heat produced. I have a non-flat top griddle at this point. Yes other manufacturers are more expensive but it is worth the extra money for the quality that you receive.

Initially, I had left a question about problems with seasoning the griddle. I found that it didn't cause the oil to smoke at the front area, leaving a sticky mess. Well, here's an update. After leaving the griddle covered up overnight, I decided to check the surface and found that it had warped above all 4 burners, causing a dip at each. This meant that when checking with a straight-edge, there was a gap of aprox. 1/32nd of an inch, which in turn meant that the included scraper would not touch the surface at the dip. So, instead of worrying about seasoning it, my next problem was, after dismantling it, trying to figure out how to pack it back into the carton for a return trip to Sam's Club. I finally managed to get everything in and taped up the carton, although I couldn't find space for all the styrofoam. I explained the problem about the warping to the Sam's Club CSR and she refunded my money without any questions. It's unfortunate that this griddle is not reinforced underneath, like another well-known brand because, in all other aspects, this one is far better made. Yes, it takes longer to assemble the cart but once built up, you end up with a rock-solid base. One reviewer commented on the short screws not allowing him to get enough torque. Let me just say as an engineer, that once the screws are fully tightened correctly, this cart is capable of being used as a work bench - it is far superior to the one I ended up getting. But now I have a well seasoned griddle without any signs of warping and I can live with the slightly flimsier cart. Here's a tip I've since learned about unpacking virtually anything that comes unassembled - take pictures of each stage of removal from the carton, just in case you need to return it. It will save a lot of time and frustration. I've given this griddle three stars for the great quality of everything except the top, which is the most important. Also, the fact that it comes with accessories makes it great value -if only..

Getting the griddle was a hassle. I live in Waynesboro Ga and my husband saw it online. We happen to be in Augusta so we went into Sam’s and picked up a ticket for the griddle. We got to the register and the lady wouldn’t sell it to us at sale price which was a 100.00 off regular price. She told us we had to order it online. So we went outside and bought it online. We then went back inside and were told that we had to go to online pickup. So we did. They then told us we would have to come back tomorrow and get it. That was a real hassle Because we live 38 miles away. It was such bull. They had brought the griddle up front and told us we would have to come back the next day. To me they hat is really a sorry way to do business

I'm having the same problems as many other reviewers. The griddle top warped on the first use. I've used it a few more times to see if it settles back in but it only gets worse. The side tables are useless because they get too hot and things set there will melt. The cover is poorly designed and comes off. There is very little adjustability in the burners. The front doesn't get hot so it's just wasted space. This thing is such a disappointment.

Just bought and assembled this beast. I own a 28" Blackstone, which I paid about as much for the 36" Member's Mean griddle ($200). Assembly took a little over an hour, and an extra set of hands would have made it easier, but by no means is this a difficult task alone. Kudos to the Engineer that designed this to go together with only a single type of screw! Make sure to use a screwdriver with a magnetic tip to make assembly easier, as some of the holes are in harder-to-reach places. The only real issue I had was with the grease trap funnel fitting kind of wonky at first, which didn't allow the griddle to full seat in the mounting holes. I only cross-threaded one screw, which I quickly corrected. For the money, it seems well made, and the grilling surface looks huge! Not sure if I'll like the center grease drain, but we shall see. Nice that it came with a plastic cover and a scraper. Overall, I give it an 9/10 on assembly. Once the weather warms up a bit, we'll get it seasoned and start cooking. More to follow.

Assembly was very easy. Phillips screwdriver was all that was needed. I have used it twice and it performed very well. I seasoned the cooking surface, and the surface finish is great. I have three negative complaints. The front 4 inches of the griddle surface has no direct heat under it, so that temps are lower. Some might consider this a feature. The sides of the burner box to griddle have a gap and the heat coming out of that area is enough to singe the hair on your arm. They need to add heat shields like several of the other brand griddles. My final issue was the soft cover. Itis very short (doesnt go down to the shelf, let alone the wheels.) The cover has little velcro strips sewn on the ends, but it won't even hold the cover on during slight winds.

The grill is amazing! The cover wore out after a couple years which is normal. But finding a replacement one for that size is turning out to be difficult. Most that wide are way too tall. Members mark should consider offering covers that size online or in club for purchase.
