[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want soft toilet paper! I want it to be strong too, but soft is my top priority. I've been a Northern Ultra Plush toilet paper user for years. Since I'm the type person who typically sticks with it when I find something I like, I wouldn't even consider trying anything else. But then I received a free sample of Charmin Ultra Soft. So -- since it was free, I tried it. I found that I like it better than the Northern Ultra Plush. It's softer, it's stronger, and it doesn't leave 'lint' behind. I alternated between Charmin Ultra Soft and Northern Ultra once -- just to make sure. Then I switched to Charmin and haven't looked back!

It's really not hard to distinguish the paid reviews from real customer reviews. Charmin has been in the house continuously for decades since the wedding. His job is to keep the toilet seat down, and my job is to supply the Charmin. Yes, Charmin brand. I've been buying the Ultra Soft blue package for years. Within the past year, the roll width has become shorter. Not pleased, but fairly tolerable. The inside plies wrapped next to the cardboard middle is wadded and trashier to make the roll seam cushier. Yes, I see through that, too. My biggest beef is ply taring. Not sure if the Ultra Strong does the same thing, but I can't seem to be able to tear off a ply cleanly at least 75-percent of the time. And, I'm being optimistically generous with the percentage. There's a jagged rip here and there. And then, there's the miracle strip. You know, you pull at the ply and you come up with an 8-inch to 15-inch long confetti string. To production control -- come on guys, let's get it together. No woman in her right mind would approve of, or use such shoddy toilet tissue. It's time to get women in the boardroom and in quality control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I got a free sample pack of #Charmin Ultra Soft, and I've been stressing about how I'm supposed to review a product that I wipe my butt with. It just seemed awkward to me. Luckily, something happened today that makes this much easier. My 3-year-old has had that horrible flu, and I have to chase and wrestle him just to wipe his nose -- it's that raw. Today, I convinced him to let me use the "super big roll that came in the mail," and I didn't get scratched or kicked from him trying to get away. He actually let me do it calmly. He says this is the only thing I can clean his nose with, that he can't like anything else (his words).

Even my 7 year old noticed that I had switched our toilet paper, and he said (and I agree) this is the best toilet paper. It really stands up to tough jobs and I absolutely love the mega rolls, no more constantly changing the roll, it really lasts! My family will definitely use Charmin every time from now on!

Long lasting role wbich in my house is a must since I have three kids. Pretty floral design and septic friendly. No plunging necessary, other brands tend to stop up my toilet. Leaves you with a clean, fresh feeling after completing your business. All around fantastic product, I will absolutely buy again.

I have used nothing but Charmin for YEARS but am so dissatisfied with it since you have made the sheets narrower. Why? The extra 1/2 inch made such a difference . Unless they go back to the size before, I will switch to another brand that isn't that narrow.

I was excited to try the Charmin Ultra Soft Mega Roll as I do like the Charmin and I love a mega roll. The first thing I noticed was how uniquely soft yet strong it is. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the new Charmin toilet paper to sample. The quality of paper is excellent, but they made the roll look like you are getting more paper. What they did was, made the roll narrower and used the excess to add more sheets. You are getting the same amount of paper, just configured differently. We like the larger sheets better

It is indeed Ultra Soft and feels very luxurious -- with a nice texture and pattern on the tissue. It feels like a comfortable pillow. Not only is it ultra soft, but it is ultra absorbent as well. The two ply sheets make a big difference. I loved the mega roll size, no worries about replacing the roll! Charmin Ultra Soft will definitely be on my shopping list!
