I have used Charmin all my life, but in the last six to eight months I have noticed that a new roll has so much adhesive that it is hard to get a new roll to begin unrolling. Once begun, product is great. However, due to this problem I have had to switch brands.

It does the job well and we used less toilet paper. The rolls were large but a little narrower than the store brand we have used in the past. Overall a great product we will most likely be purchasing.

So we go through a lot of toilet tissue. I was very impressed on the size of the rolls, they're huge! And its super thick and soft.. i will be writing another review to let everyone know how long it last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not one to shop by brand, but usually by sale price, this is my first time trying Charmin Ultra Soft...and man is it ULTRA SOFT. Not sure that I would've tried this had it not been provided as a sample. However, I love it! I was worried about "cushion particles of the paper" being left behind when wiping, as has happened when purchasing "soft" brands, and this was not the case. It has a super soft texture which feels great whether used for wiping my nose or being used for the restroom and does not leave any paper particles behind. I do and will recommend this to all my family and friends. Super soft and a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family received a 4 pk of Charmin Ultra Soft (Mega Roll) toilet paper free to try from the brand. I found truth in advertising in that it was by far "ultra soft" and "mega" in size. Not only was the super soft texture much appreciated on the tush, but my oldest daughter (7 y/o) found it perfectly soft and absorbant for a sore runny nose and I used it repeatedly to wipe my youngest daughter's (5 m/o) drool soaked face. The "mega" rolls were almost too thick to fit on our toilet paper holders and lasted significantly longer (at least 2x, if not more) than the "double rolls" of our usual brand. Not only is there more TP/roll, but the quality/thickness allows for significantly less sheets used/wipe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love Charmin Ultra Soft and so does my family. I is soft and cleans well. I don't use as many sheets, so that is a good money savings. It does not let lint behind and that is a one of my concerns when using toilet paper. The price is right too, not as expensive as other brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from charmin to try but this is 100% my own opinion, very thick, it didn't rip when used, lasts alot longer then other brands, very soft, family approved, I recommended to everyone I know who didn't use charmin! And we have definitely made our switch to charmin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't used a Charmin product in a long time and was very pleased to be invited to try the Charmin Ultra Soft brand. It is a very soft tissue, gentle for my skin, yet strong, but not as thick as some other papers I have used. That is a very good thing since even a small amount of the thicker tissue will clog my toilet! The only concern that I have is the width of the rolls; there is an inch and one half gap between the paper and the sides of the roller holder. Maybe this is because these are test rolls, but they are definitely more narrow than the store brand of tissue that I have been using which has comparable sheet counts.

Mega size doesn't fit two of three tissue holders. The holders are porcelain set in tile and I'm not about to replace them. After 40 years or so, I will not buy Charmin if I can't find it in something other than mega size. Too bad. I like the product but it just doesn't fit.

Not all toilet paper is created equal. I’d say that Charmin is on higher-end of the toilet paper spectrum. It’s very soft and absorbent. You definitely can use less sheets than some other brands. It has a pretty hefty price tag, but for as soft as it is I’d say it’s worth it.
