I have to admit I'm usually a cheap tp kinda gal (still has to be 2ply but still cheap) but I really like this. And doing the math this is actually just as cheap as my cheap brand due to the fact that this roll is so thick and long!! It's more than double the size of my normal roll. And much thicker and softer. So yes you are paying more but you are getting more!! So in the end (no pun intended) this is actually the best bang for your buck. Even my 4 year old commented on how much better this was that what we had prior haha!

Just wanted to share. At Christmastime I was visiting with a person who lives in a mansion. In their guest bathroom they had SCOTT toilet paper. My daughter called to see how I was doing and I said to her, "I would rather live in a shack with Charmin than a mansion with Scott!" .She thought it was so funny she bruised a rib laughing.

The day arrived and I could not wait to open my package - I mean who doesn't love a good TP? I scoured the packaging to make sure I had all the vital details. The first thing I noticed was that this TP is Clog Safe and Septic Safe - this is great news since I have two little ones at home who throughly enjoy using LOTS of TP. I switched out the rolls in each of our bathrooms with the Charmin Ultra Soft and everyone in my house is a fan. This toilet paper is very soft to the touch but also quite strong. We used this toilet paper for runny noses and there was almost no irritation; which is a shock considering it is toilet paper! I also used the Charmin Ultra Soft to help set my lipstick. It's quite a versitle product and I was impressed on all accounts. We are not quite done with the sample package, but when we are I will make sure to update my review and share any new uses we come up with. First Impression - This is some darn good TP!

I have used Charmin for 45 years -- ever since I set up housekeeping. Always considered it to be the best product on the market. Give us back our standard width rolls that fit our dispensers. It's hard to believe that you would make a change that would affect so many people with so little foresight. You keep making the rolls fatter and fatter--I had to put an extender on my dispenser to accomodate the fat rolls. But there is no way to fill the ugly gap left by the skinny width. Bring back the width, and if you must save, reduce the size or number of sheets. Better yet, raise the price a little and give us both the size and width.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the new Charmin Ultra Soft. The toilet paper is so soft and does not fall apart at all. It's soft and strong at the same time. What is another awesome detail is that the 4 rolls equals 16 rolls of the regular leading brand. Charmin is more durable than paper towels as well. You can use it in many different ways than just toilet paper. Soft enough to wipe your nose when you have a cold and instead of using half a roll if regular toilet paper only a couple sheets need to be used. Charmin also has great advertising and recognizable labels and great commercials. So when you go to the store to look for Charmin you know exactly where to go because the label is very distinct. From now on I am only going to use Charmin for the quality is great and quantity is even better for The unbeatable price they have. It's a win-win either way you look at it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Charmin Ultrasoft now for about 2 weeks, and I have to say that I am really impressed...with a toilet paper...and that says a lot all by itself. First, the Charmin Ultrasoft Mega Roll is huge which means that I don't have to change it as often which is a big plus since my husband is never involved in this task. Then, the tissue itself is incredibly soft and has a pretty flowered pattern when you look closely. I kept my usual brand of toilet paper out to compare the two and the Charmin Ultrasoft wins the softness test hands down. OK, so then I used the Charmin Ultrasoft, I was amazed at how strong this really soft toilet paper was! I was also amazed to find that because it's so strong, I really do use less toilet paper. I would absolutely buy Charmin Ultrasoft and love the Mega Rolls!

As always, we recently purchased the Ultra Soft Mega pack of Charmin. Very disappointed in, at this point, in 4 rolls of the first package of 8. You get down to a certain point and the sheets on the roll are rippled and when you get down further the roll starts to shred into small pieces. Your usual good quality reputation is lessened somewhat. No moisture whatsoever was involved. Original packaging all intact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has always been picky about toilet paper, so I knew replacing our usual brand with Charmin Ultra Soft would be a challenge. As expected, the toilet paper was met with great skepticism and trepidation. The first complaint I received was that it didn't fit on our built in holder. We have an old home with a recessed tile toilet paper holder, which couldn't accommodate the large roll. We used the paper off of the holder until it got down to a size that fit, then were able to hang it and put it to the real test. You can imagine my shock and disbelief when it received tremendously positive reviews! My husband was especially pleased with the strength of the paper, which is durable and never tears. I found it to be soft and comfortable to use, but not so soft that it leaves pieces behind. As for the thickness, it is just right and doesn't clog the toilet. We haven't had to use a plunger at all, while we were using it. The rolls last a long time, but I wish they were a little smaller so we could use them on our holder immediately. Also, hubby didn't really care for the frilly floral print, which he thought was too girly. Perhaps a simpler design pattern would have better all around appeal. Not sure what the price is on this particular product, but we certainly would consider buying it in the future.
