[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping tape to seal packages for shipping. I like the seal it provides the boxes. The tape is secure overall. One thing I dislike is the tape rips and splits more than I would like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Scotch Brand Heavy Duty Shopping/Packing Tape with a Dispenser free to evaluate, and I can say I was not disappointed with the product! We use lots of packing tape when storing items in boxes in our storage units, and we have used this tape often. The tape is strong, and keeps sticking even when exposed to extreme temperatures. The tape can be written on for easy identification of boxes. The smaller dispenser is much more convenient to use than the large handled device we were using previously. I also use the tape to secure the labels on my bottles of homemade extracts to ensure the remain readable!

I have tried different packing tape sometimes but always go back to a Scotch brand. The dispenser is wonderful, I don't have to ruin my finger nails trying to get scratch off the end piece that always sticks So, I go to the store and get my Scotch brand tape. I also have relatives and friends who live far away, so when I send their birthday or Christmas gifts I really depend on the scotch packaging tape. I have had such ease using Scotch brand tape and tell my relatives and friends about it.

We are working on our home and thus we have to pack up many of our things. We have many heavy things we're having to pack in boxes so we needed a tape with some extra hold, enter Scotch heavy duty shipping tape. I don't think I will ever use anything else to hold my boxes together I love it so much.

I'm using a roll of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape that I received as a sample to review, and highly recommend it. It easily dispenses and does not rip or tear coming off the roll. The name is deceiving because I use it for so much more then just packing boxes for shipping. In a week I've used it multiple times from a rip in my window shade to a tear in a binder cover. It's strong and clear so I tend to use it for lots of things around the house.
