Love how it comes with its own holder and you don't have to try to find where the tape ends again. Perfect for small jobs!

The dispenser was light enough to be stable and sturdy enough to get the job done. The tape sticks on the first use and does not crease. This product is recommended to everyone. I am a merchandiser and deal with a lot of boxes sent to my house that need to be loaded into my car to be brought to stores. They always fall apart but after I received this tape and started to use it, I have not had any box fall apart on me since I reinforce them with the 3M Heavy Duty Shipping tape. I am sure you will not be disappointed in purchasing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this tape for many years, even before 3M sent me the sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape with Dispenser. It works wonderfully well to close up boxes and packages for shipping and storage. I like that I can write on it with permanent marker or ball-point pen. Postage labels adhere without difficulty. My most frequent use is for "laminating" prayer cards, recipe cards, art, and other items that I want to keep safe from continued handling and moisture. Much more cost-effective and easier to use than a laminating machine - portable, too! Can you tell that I really, really like this tape? WOW!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape and used this product to seal a package to mail. The tape is wonderful! It dispensed very easily and smoothly. This tape is strong enough to tape cartons of books with just one strip! The adhesive on the tape really holds. The other thing I like about this tape is that it is clear so it can easily be used over labels without fear of covering important shipping information. The amount and length could be a little longer but it's enough. The tear teeth are sharp and make it easy to get any size piece you need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the stickiness of the Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging tape. The dispenser is sturdy and as I would expect. The tape itself is thick and does appear to be heavy duty as in it sticks well and seems to adhere strongly. Easy to roll, easy to cut using the attached cutter. The tape seems to adhere and hold strongly. I have had no issues with this tape and recommend it especially for packages.

Doesn't get too caught up on the tape cutter piece and seems to do a good job sealing boxes without lifting around the corners. I did not receive any negative feedback on the couple of packages I sent in terms of poor packaging or things came undone. Only wish this was a bit bigger to handle more tape.

It is easy to use and very strong. The dispenser is good for preventing the tape from falling back on itself. I also like the dispenser because I find it simple to use than cutting the tape with a pair of scissors. This is a great product. I strongly recommend having this tape at home and in the office.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite tape! Taping packages is just one of the many things I use it for, but one "unorthodox" use is to remove other things. For example, if I remove a label and it leaves part of the label and/or a sticky residue, I put a piece of this tape over it, press it down, and then remove the tape......takes everything with it! As for its main purpose.....it is the best packing tape you can buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to help my child move across country. We used the heavy duty shipping tape on the heavier boxes. It adhered to the boxes perfectly and was easy to tear off. Those heavy boxes survied the move and arrived still sealed. I wouldn't use any other brand of tape.
