Not only is the tape good & strong, but the dispenser makes it easy to use, & eliminates the usual problem of tape sticking back to the roll after tearing off a strip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is strong and so easy to use. I send gifts to my sister and her daughters in California often and this has made the packing so easy. It glides on with the holder and cuts so easy. Found I did not have to use a much as I previously did with the tape I had. It also is very clear so I could cover the mailing label as well. Easy to store with my other packing supplys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate, and this stuff is really strong it held without problem on several boxes of books, and holds well to the cardboard. I even used it to temporarily fix a broken cell phone screen. The only problem with this tape is getting the tape off the roll, it tends to tear off in a thin strip rather than across the entire face of the roll. I had several other people try it to rule my method or arthritis as the cause of the problem, and all had the same issue. Once i got the roll started the dispenser/cutter worked flawlessly and cut well. After cutting a strip I would fold over the last 1/4 inch of tape on itself to make a flap I could use to avoid the issue with starting the tape. I would love to see 3M/Scotch add a similar mechanism for the new roll, a simple fold or piece of cardboard could make this tape much easier to use.

Pack away summer and winter clothing. Pack things to send in mail. It is strong and holds well for all your needs.

I am an elementary teacher and use this tape for many many things in the classroom. One of the biggest uses is to tape name plates on student desks. I have never had any trouble until this year. The tape will not stay down on the desks. I bought a multi pack of tape and have tried all the rolls. I have wiped the tables with water, then the school's cleaner and then Clorox wipes. The tape comes up after each cleaning. Help! What do I need to do?

Using this tape adds to the life of the books as they are used frequently by the children. I also use it as a quick "laminate" for photos that are used as picture exchange communication for children with speech disabilities.

I can wrap packages without the tape wrinkling or bunching. I can use less of this tape than other brands because it is strong enough to do the job with just one pass. It is reliable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a 3M - Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape Dispenser for free. I like this design because it is very ergonomic. It fits easily in my hand and is very easy to maneuver. It's a simple design with convenient raised ridges on the sides for better grip. The tape rolls and dispenses easily and smoothly and tears easily with the metal guide. The small blades are not sharp to the touch but are effective at tearing the tape. I'm very satisfied with the simple, yet effective design.
