I was packing up some items to store and had picked up broken down boxes. The items I had to put in were heavy so I had to use the tape to actually make the box and then seal them. It was the best tape ever. It adhered to the box and did not peal back or seem week at all. I went out and bought the exact same one that I received as a sample to review since it was so good. I recommend it for those who need to not only ship but to box up items that may sit in your garage.

The packaging is also sturdy and provides the perfect housing for the tape that allows easy tearing. I highly recommend this tape over any other brand for shipping packages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been on a budgeting plan ever since I lost my job in January 2010 and have tried several generic type tape to save money and realized after trying several off brand (off-brand meaning any brand besides Scotch) and came to see why it was cheaper. They are cheaper because they substitute quality in my opinion. I went back to purchasing Scotch brand tape for all off my taping needs including packing tape, labeling tape, wrapping tape and office tape and I am in relief! Scotch tape works wonders and has never been the tape used when a package busted open, a big bubble was left on my shipping label and never has Scotch tape tore and stuck to the tape roll while ripping in pieces trying to peel it back off the roll. After all of my trial and errors I came to realize one fact worth notating... While the economy is tough and though we are all cutting back there is just some things that have no substitute and that is Scotch brand tape. It works fabulously. Period. It has no substitute! This packaging tape is heavier than their regular packaging tape - great for heavier packages. I used it to take up a heavy box I needed to ship and it worked great! I was confident the box would stay closed as it shipped.

Had 6 rolls of this tape forgotten in a warm 2nd floor closet for at least 3 yrs. Got laid off, started cleaning out rooms, found the tape, started making Covid19 masks to ship out to people all over the US. Used up these rolls on Sm & Med USPS boxes, and shipping labels, tape never failed me. Strong and stuck like glue on everything Ive used so far. The found rolls were perfectly fine in the warm closet for many years. I will definitely buy more.
