It has a very nice smell ( Cool Cotton) that is not overpowering but makes my laundry smell great and feeling softer. I like that it is a clear liquid so I don't have to worry about any dyes against my fabrics. Can't wait to try other scents!

My husband is a hard working man that works outside all day no matter how hot it is. Most days he comes in with soaking wet clothes from.sweating so much. Boy oh boy that smell is a chor trying to wash out. But not with this product. I just add it to my fabric softener tray in my washing machine and it does its magic. His clothes comes out clean smelling with the first wash. The scent cool cotton is a light scent which is a plus for my husband and his sensitive skin.

That being said, it is a great product. Smells amazing and adds a little extra cleanings to your garments. Definitely give it a try!

Those tough odors has finally started smelling clean again. This is my new softener and odor remover from now on.

I will never do laundry without Downey Rinse and Refresh again! We have hard water due to having a well and after one use I noticed a HUGE difference in the feel of our clothes. They felt cleaner and softer straight out of the washer! Everything from regular clothes, workout gear, sheets, blankets and towels...what a difference!! It seriously removes the mineral and hard water buildup!

It left my clothes feeling wonderfully soft and didn't leave any residue on them at all. I loved the fresh and clean fragrance as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy rinse and refresh has a great scent but using the product is a bit confusing. I wasn’t sure how much to use or how to use it. With zero measurements and no directions on the bottle it left me with basically no options other than to add a bit to my washer. It does have a QR code on the bottle to scan for directions…who wants to do that? The directions even then are still very vague. It would be so much better if this came with a squirt style cap. I have to remove the cap to pour into the washer and it makes a mess if it drips on the side of the bottle. The product is good but the packaging is not what I would prefer.

It definitely took out the wet dog smell that’s just been embedded in everything. It actually softened up some of our towels we use for the dog too. We also used it on the baby’s changing table cover and some of his baby clothes and they definitely softened up and smell great!
