[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very easy to use, I just followed the instructions. It smells good and I love that the scent is light and fresh and not over powering. I have used this with Bleach for my whites and with just laundry detergent for colors on both clothes and towels and so far I really like it. Everything smelled amazing and felt soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Downy Rinse & Refresh on my children's athletic clothing, towels with a mildew residue smell, and my hubby's dirty work clothing (he is a plumber), and have found that it works great! It left the clothing and towels with a nice, subtle, clean fragrance. In addition to eliminating all offensive odors, It also left the clothing/towels nice & soft. Very simple to use...add it to fabric softener dispenser in lieu of fabric softener. My only complaint is that it does not have a measuring cap or a guide related to amount to use. It just says fill the dispenser. I love the product and it will now be a staple in my home. Recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a longtime lover of the Downy brand and was really excited to try the Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton fabric rinse. With a houseful of kids who play sports, we always have smelly and dirty clothes to wash. This rinse is a clear, slightly foaming liquid that you use in the fabric softner dispenser or by pouring right into the washing machine during the rinse cycle. I used mine in the fabric softener dispenser. It is made to clarify your fabrics by removing residue build up. The Cool Cotton scent is light, refreshing and smells so clean. It made my clothes smell wonderful and I felt like they had been cleansed extremely well when I got them out of the wash.

It has a very nice smell ( Cool Cotton) that is not overpowering but makes my laundry smell great and feeling softer. I like that it is a clear liquid so I don't have to worry about any dyes against my fabrics. Can't wait to try other scents!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is pretty small. I mean like in comparison to other fabric softeners. I like the clear bottle, it feels more natural since I can see through it. They advertise it fights odor and leaves a great smell which is a half true. When you open the bottle, it smells delicious but after putting it in multiple loads of laundry, I feel like the smells basically disappears. Like you can faintly smell it but like literally if your nose is directly on the fabric and inhaling hard. The packaging doesn’t tell me how much to use so they should probably add that. I washed like 5 loads so far and the bottle is already more than half gone, so maybe I am using too much. Idk. I do not know if it is really fighting the odor since I don’t stink and I haven’t washed anything incredibly funky. But it does combat enough of normal smells - I think.

We still love her, but man are her blankets gross. I wash the "dog laundry" once a week and I tend to use free and clear products and oxy-clean to keep them fresh but frankly, it doesnt always smell great even after washing. This new Downy is absolutely amazing. It basically replaces fabric softener, but also really gets deep in to loosen the "funk". I cannot live without this stuff!! I fell in love after the very first use!

It leaves my clothes and linens smelling divine after just one wash. Even after being in the dryer, because I use woolen balls instead of harsh dryer products. This rinse even made my closet fragrant from my clothing hanging inside of it, and my laundry room smells amazing, too!

We were already long time users of Downy products, but this new fabric softener is a winner. It actually removes odors instead of hiding them. We have a pre-teen boy that’s drags in odors you can’t get rid of with regular detergents. They mostly camo the odors. This rinse product does when used as instructed.
