It leaves my clothes soft and fresh smelling. It doesn't leave a residue like I feel regular fabric softener does. I've use this now instead of regular Downy Fabric softener.

We absolutely love the new smell of our laundry due to this rinse. It just leaves even the fonkiest socks smelling like heaven. For more tougher smell obviously add more but for the basic a little goes a long way.

This product works, removing odors from outdoor work shirts. Real test was washing the dog's bath towels, and now those towels don't have lingering odors. 4 stars due to high cost of product.

The liquid comes out a bit fast and there is no way to measure which is fine. Great value for the money. Highly recommended

It has a light texture, pour easily and the fresh cotton scent leaves my clothes smelling clean for days. A little goes a long way so the concentration is great, and didn’t notice any residue on my clothes after washing. The bottle looks nice and is easy to use. Overall, it made my laundry feel fresher and cleaner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Downy Rinse and Refresh in Cool Cotton makes my laundry so fresh. I do have some stinky laundry and that isn't a problem anymore. I just pour the recommended amount into my rinse cycle and let Downy do the rest. This is safe on all fabrics. Contains no heavy perfumes and dries as normal.

I had a horrible reaction to the fragrance/fragrance carrier in this stuff. I've rewashed everything multiple times; the smell is still there and has now spread to other items via the washing machine/dryer. Ridiculous that it won't come out. If you're going to make a "long lasting scent" you need to make a product that strips it out.I rated this 1 star - it's was bumped up to 2 stars
