I love my portal 😁 it's been a great investment. 10/10. Portability is awesome. The games play perfectly over stable wifi. I've played games like spider man and gta, and fortnite also nba 2k, just to name a few. I really dont have any complaints. Battery life is great for me. Ive played Spider-Man for hours. I'm not a super havey gamer. But I'd say even a heavy game, you could get 4 plus or so hours, if not more. But you'd just have to play around with it, to see how it holds up for you. For my I can get about 10 plus hours out of it and still have 15 percent. So i guess it just depends on what your playing and how much. I got a cool cover case for it and it feels good in the hand. I also got a screen protector for it too. So i think im good to go. The buttons feel great to and the screen is awesome. Hope this helps a little. pls have a good day.

It’s a good device but a little pricey for the limitations it has. Battery life is poor even on low brightness, relies on two good internet connections, and has occasional lag spikes even on two good connections. Perfect for people who travel frequently and play mostly single player games.With that said I still think it’s worth the investment to get the Steam Deck instead.

I liked the portal until I was literally sitting next to the PlayStation and was losing connection and the screen was constantly fuzzy/blurry to where I could barely see what I was doing so I did end up returning the portal. I also, don’t like how you cannot play the play station on a different account the same time as someone else was playing the portal on a separate account.

Great Product! Sony did great with this one. The graphics, sound, controller response, imho are all excellent. It does take a little adjusting at first, but it is Just as immersive as playing directly on your console! My honest review: The Portal only works on your local network and your PS5 MUST BE ON THE SAME NETWORK. This isn’t a device that you can travel with and play remotely from another location. I got it because sometimes I want to play on the couch or in bed. It literally is your console at the palm of your hands. It does require a strong and a consistent WIFI connection. The screen is a nice size (think 9” screen about the size of an iPad mini). It is relatively big in size( Much bigger than the BackBone attachment to your phone). Sony’s is all one device. Which makes it a handful! I do wish that Sony would’ve made it the screen “tiltable”, so that I wouldn’t have to bend my neck downwards, during long play. Even though I wish the price point wasn’t up there, if you are a modernity serious gamer, and you don’t always want to sit in front of your console for hours, this is truly the device to get! Connected flawlessly, screen was bright and vibrant, was able to play for about 15 minutes and moved to a different section of my house and lost connection to the PS5 while being on the same network. After 30 minutes of attempting to connect restarted the device and moved to where the PS5 is located and next to the wireless router, still unable to connect to PS5. Absolute waste of money, another awful experience involving Sony's devices ability to connect to WiFi.

I’m glad I purchased this at the time I did. If I bought it before the update, I would’ve returned it. But now it’s amazing! Just make sure you have great WiFi. Other than that, I love it. Bought me a hard shell case, going on a cruise next month this will be perfect

I love it if I didn’t have to go to my TV to change some settings once in a while I would never use my TV again, but the biggest thing is you have to make sure you have a decent Internet connection. I have a router and two satellites in different areas of my house so my Internet connection is great but I love this device. I was playing my PlayStation on the 70 inch TV and it was too big.

Very cool. Didn’t look too much into it before I got it. Didn’t know it’s touch screen. Works good for my sports game when casting from PS5. And works good on other games. Can’t wait for it to be finished, it’s still technically in Beta. But works good. Speakers do suck on it. Use headphones.

The portal works wonderfully, especially with an ethernet connection! I have had no input delay from the remote play connection and it feels wonderful to play away from home and in bed! i highly recommend this! It feels so much better than playing from remote play on the phone!
