I had tried remote play on other devices with varying degrees of success so i wasnt sure what to expect. I bought this out of FOMO and im so glad I did. +Screen is a good size and colors pop. +Battery life is sufficient. +Easy to use. -The volume scaling is not great. The first nitch up from silent is too loud. Needs to be about half what it is. -No third party bluetooth head phone support. C'mon Sony. Make great headphones and people will buy them. You dont have to force people with gate keeping. All in all, I love this thing. Connectivity will vary but with the right set up its honestly real close to playing natively on my PS5. Ive seen this called the "Dad Station" and that describes what i love about it most. I can play and do other ghings at the same time.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. We eneded up returning because it had a hard time connecting and etaying connected to the playstation. Ultimately becauae this only works if the PS5 is on, its not super convenient. The PS5 can be in restmode but it will turn the console on completely.

Looks nice, pairs easily. Not much different than an iPad and PS5 controller. Screen size nice. Nightmare to use the touchpad with certain games. If you want to use you must be on same WiFi and no one can stream media to the TV using your PS5, which defeats the point of it. You need a Roku/Apple Tv for media while using it. Definitely no competition for the Switch. Kids can’t even take it in the car. This basically turns your PS5 into a 4K Wii U. Save your money.

Really isn’t useful made it seem like you could play it without being directly next to your play station but the second you move more than a food away it disconnects. Hopefully here’s some updates that allow remote play without problems and without needing to have the ps on in the other room…

I love it if I didn’t have to go to my TV to change some settings once in a while I would never use my TV again, but the biggest thing is you have to make sure you have a decent Internet connection. I have a router and two satellites in different areas of my house so my Internet connection is great but I love this device. I was playing my PlayStation on the 70 inch TV and it was too big.

This handheld/accessory is awesome. The controller is very ergonomical, its a perfect replica of the ps5 duelsense controller. The thumbsticks are a hair smaller but honestly i dont think youll even notice during gameplay. Has haptic triggers, and a nice light bar between the screen and the controller. The screen is a perfect size in my opinion, some may perfer a little bigger but for my consumption i think this screen is perfect. The speakers in this are pretty good. They arent great but they do more than just get the just get the job do so id say above average. The USB-C port is in the perfect position so you can play and charge at the same time. The gameplay of this handheld is awesome. Connects to my ps5 quickly, no issues as long as its put in rest mode. Have had very little, and i mean very little frameskips or lag. Button input latency, for me, has almost been non-existent.

very nice product for us the green the controller I'm just all around build of the product that is very clean and nice and easy to use. but it is very misleading advertisement. all I've heard is you no need for a ps5 that you can now play all the games you want in the PlayStation as long as you have the PlayStation premium. but really all it a list of about 20 old old games. there's no other app you can get on. you can't use the internet. you can't even use YouTube. it's a very boring product. I got the Logitech G cloud after and I can tell you it's about a thousand times better.

Great for someone who's looking for a more casual way of gaming on your PS5 or for people who arent able to have themselves planted in front of there TV throughout their day. I am finally finishing off all my those games I did not finish just by laying in bed. For a person who uses a TV setup by the bedside, I was bot able to play more than an hour without feeling very uncomfortable and ending my gaming session, but with the portal im able to just kick back on the couch or the bed and continue where i left off. I do about %90 of my PS gaming through the portal now. Only downside is that you do have to have a good internet connection speed to really enjoy the experience it gives. I was on a 500mb fiber plan with a household FULL of electronics and it was not enough to support the portal to the best of its ability. I upgraded to a 1gb plan and i have absolutely no problems with it now. If you dont have a high speed internet plan or are not planning to upgrade to one, try hard lining your PS5 to your router. That would definitely help with any connectivity issues you might encounter.

I was very concerned after buying this product and looking at all of the 1 star reviews a lot of them either not receiving the product or the device being faulty. I can confirm that I bought my portal for $200 and it came sealed and new no problems here!
