I love scallops, though I've never had them breaded. These were delicious! The package recommends oven cooking but also has air fryer instructions. I cooked half in the Oven and half in the air-fryer. Both tasted great but I would still recommend cooking them in the oven, it only takes a little longer and they were a little better whish isn't something I usually say when it comes to air-frying. Overall, I highly recommend, even got the kiddos to try them and they liked them as well.

Wonderful AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops, I recently picked up a box of AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops on a shopping trip to Sam’s Club. While wandering up and down the isles overflowing with all the things a person did not know they needed. From the newest pool float with the umbrella next to the “grow your own Tomatoes indoors” tent with lights and water system in a reflective surface inside that fits into a closet. Within site of the 1000 pack of underwear and granola bars. Smelling the fresh bread and thinking of ways to prepare all the great cuts of fresh meats and veggies with a affordable wine to pair together. Looking through the cold foods area I came across the AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops and thought that would be a treat for the family dinner one night. Returning home after my purchase of AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops, I decided to have them for dinner that night. This was a great choice as the day had been full of many errands and stops to take care of all the little things in life.¬ Seeing that the AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops, were oven ready and everyone was getting hungry I followed the instructions for preparing the AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops I placed them on a baking trey and pre heated the oven. Once the oven was hot, I placed them in the oven along with a trey of crunchy tater tots to go with them. Soon the wonderful smell of the AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops began to fill my kitchen with the smells usually associated with exotic places. Sitting on a deck chair outside of a small restaurant, sipping on a drink with pretty colors, fruit and a little umbrella frozen to counter the warm breeze coming off the water. Watching the local fisherman unloading todays catch of the freshest of seafoods that the ocean has to offer to those wishing to try their hand at fishing. Halfway through the cooking process I turned over the AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops to make sure that both sides get crispy and develop a beautiful golden color. Soon the song Margiritaville reminded me of the line ” and the shrimp their beginning to boil!”, but we smell the incredible scent of fried scallops cooking. The aroma fills the air and we can hardly wait!!! Its time, the AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops are ready and looking wonderful. We sit done to dinner and the silence is deafening. No one is speaking only the sounds of knives and forks on the plates as they cut the golden brown AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops and the steam escape from a juicy looking scallop. The chewing is so load that the pets run and hide under the couch and the neighbors ponded on their wall to quite down. As quick as it hard started it came to the bitter end (nautical term for the last part of the anchor attached to the boat) and the family was full and making after dinner sounds from digestion. We decided that the next time we wanted another exotic dinner that reminds us of great places and time together we would buy AquaStar Jumbo Sea Scallops again.

Too much breading

Big & juicy scallops with a thick breading surrounding the scallops. The breading is not overwhelming.
