Pompeian olive oil is consistently excellent, and I fully trust that it is 100% olive oil. Check its label - it is USDA monitored for quality. It is an excellent value, especially in the 68 ounce size. The flavor is nice. We even enjoy it on toast instead of butter. Love it!

Taste is what you would expect for an olive oil - when used for cooking, it does transfer some of the attributes to your food - for example cooking eggs shows the oil color.

There is sometimes a problem with opening the bottle but I think that then you don't have to worry that it opened during delivery to the store. It tastes great when you make your own dressing.

Use for a wonderfully deep flavored garlic bread or drizzle on fresh hummus, you cannot go wrong! Deep earthy flavors of this olive oil give anything you put it on a depth of flavor I am sure you will enjoy just like i have! I highly recommend!
