iGen2500 review

Bought this two and a half years ago and finally pulled out of the box. Seriously started on first pull. Taking it to the lake in less than two weeks so getting it ready. Very happy with it is far and doesn't seem too loud to me. Happy we got it and looking forward to using it.

Glad to have this backup

I often lose power in this rural area - glad to have this backup to rely on. Purchased recently, I have not used it yet. I've been using a solar panel to charge it to be sure I can charge it if I lose power for an extended period. Fingers crossed I don't need it or if I do, that it will work as promised.

Perfect for tailgating!

I recently purchased this item and have already used it at a football tailgate. I loved how it worked! It kept the charge for the entire morning, was super quiet compared to gasoline powered generators and is a perfect addition to my household. I am so glad I purchased this.

Igen300s

Perfect small backup source. I ran tv/dvd player for 6 hours. Then i tested 32in and satellite box and ran for 2.5 hrs. Recharged 3 phones, 3 tablets and a laptop numerous times a piece. Definitely worth it as a reliable backup. I also purchased the igen2500 as a source for refrigerator and other necessary items. Love Westinghouse and recommend it to everyone

Excellent power station!

I purchase the iGen200s about a week ago, and l think it's an excellent choice. I tested it out, and it has just enough power in case of a power outage. You can charge a laptop, cellphone and plugin a light and radio for about 3hrs with no problem. And i love the led display so you know exactly how much wattage is being used and your battery status. Yes, I highly recommend the iGen200s.

Works well.

I bought this product to run my furnace if I lose power during the night. It had to last until I could get outside to start my gas generator in daylight, or until it stopped raining. I tried it, and it lasted 18 hours, enough time to keep the house warm overnight. Of course, the furnace is not on continuously, but it is just what I needed for extra security. I hope to try recharging with a solar panel soon to have a back-up to the gas generator.

Impressive product!

I just unboxed and charged this power station and I am certainly impressed by the quality of the unit and how quickly it charged to 100%. I am looking forward to using it (and the matching unit and solar panel that I also purchased) for the first time.

Peace of Mind

Living on the Albemarle sound in North Carolina, we face violent storms and loss of power. I have purchased three I GEN 1000 S power supply units for such emergencies. They do provide peace of mind, but what I really need is something with enough power to run my well pump. At this point, I am not interested in anything other than solar, portable power supply units. I hope Westinghouse will make something like that available soon, because access to my well could be a matter of life and death for us. also, I would add that it would be great if Westinghouse would make these units with extendable handles and wheels that operate like luggage. I noticed that at least one competitor offers this design, and it would be a nice addition because these units are quite heavy for a woman to lift

Oven power house

Purchase this for an emergency in case we lose our power. I've been testing it out along with the solar panel and it's super awesome because it's quiet and obviously recharges and it's very compact. I hope I never have to use it or I have to plan a camping trip soon. .

Well Built

This is a very sturdy, compact unit. The outlets and inlets are very well thought out and I really like the LED data center. It tells you the state of charge and the amount of power you are using, eliminating a lot of guesswork. Thanks Westinghouse for such a nice product.
