I looked for this for MONTHS, only to find it away from the other pepper (peppercorns). I mean, why not place it with the OTHER BLACK PEPPERS)?

It's ground coarse so that when you bite into a granule of it, your teeth act as a pepper grinder, ie, you get a strong "fresh ground" flavor due to that. Very enjoyable pepper taste.

Having been a loyal customer for many years, I can confidently say that I consistently recommend Member's Mark coarse black pepper. It's a truly fantastic product, and I particularly appreciate the convenience of being able to purchase it in a case. Knowing I have a good, readily available stock on hand makes my cooking experience so much smoother and less stressful.

This black pepper is exactly what it says it is...coarse black pepper.

This pepper is too strong, and is so coarse it will not come out of my pepper shaker.
