I will spare the reader.... just suffice it to say that Charmin Ultra Strong is by far the best, softest TP on the market. Anyone who has a 'sensitive' back end should give this a shot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say I normally use Cottonelle toilet paper charmin Ultra was 1000 times better when we use a rolling week with Cottonelle me and the wife but with Charmin we used a half a week,and I must say I felt cleaner after each use. Thie is the only toilet paper I will ever buy.

It's strong enough that the first sheet is even usable and doesn't get stuck to the roll and tear. It's noted clog free so it should be safe for septic systems. I'd recommend it if I were asked about this type of paper product. I didn't see any mention of it using recycled fibers, which would be a plus 1 star. Also, I've seen that there are rolls without the cardboard tube, which might be a good technology to add to the product. A solid 4 stars.

There have been many times where I was stuck with TP that has a lot of paper that will last a long time. Unfortunately, that paper is as good as wiping with gift wrapping tissue paper. Where's the love? Where's the softness? I have also tried others that were softer but required constant changing of the rolls because the rolls were used up due to less paper on the roll to make up for more softness. Charmin Ultra Strong has come up with a toilet paper that takes care of these problems. There is plenty of softness without giving up a lot of paper space on the roll. Plus, it has the absorbency of that's 2x greater than the leading 1,000-sheet brand. It has the strength of a paper towel yet has the gentleness you would expect in a Charmin brand toilet paper. I highly recommend this toilet paper to all and to all a good wipe!

I found that TWO pieces of Charmin ultra strong is enough for your messiest messes. The only downside to these tissues is that they aren't as wide as others, but in my opinion they more then make up for it in the strength they come with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sure we've all seen the ads but I generally use another brand. I found the Charmin to be very soft yet strong. We are using it in all three bathrooms now. The rolls seem to last at least as long as my current brand if not a little longer.

In fact, when I meet people, I like to ask if they "fold or wad" their toilet paper. While it is generally awkward for them to answer, it is a GREAT ice breaker. Anyway, I fold. Three sheets, folded into each other. This toilet paper is one of the best I've used. it is soft and it is strong, 2 requirements for good toilet paper. I'll be buying some in the future for sure.

I had just bought some store brand TP and it was rougher than my previous brand (quilted northern). So I put the new roll on and was a little surprised at how strong the paper was. I soon found out that it was pretty rough on your backside. It did a very good job with cleaning with fewer sheets though. I'm taking the rolls and putting them in my car for when you need a paper towel but don't want a huge roll of paper towels in the car. So I am mixed on the product. Great strength and cleaning ability, a little rougher than my liking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried a couple rolls of the Charmin Ultra Strong product now, and it does seem to live up to its name. I often use Cottonelle which is soft, but sometimes is a bit weak in its structure. The Charmin was strong with no tearing during its use. It's as absorbent as any paper I've used, so it's quite effective. It isn't as soft as Cottonelle, but nothing else really matches them in that area. Even with that, it's still comfortable to use, certainly better than many other brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is a great toilet paper for people who normally use 1-ply TP. However, it is not such a great comparison to my normal TP. It is a quilted paper, but it still felt rough and instead of feeling soft it felt bulky. The packaging clearly compares the 4-roll package to the amount of 8 rolls, but it's not. My normal brand has a bigger roll with a 2-ply. This product failed to meet my expectations of a 2-ply toilet paper. On a great note: the paper is not glued to the roll like most others.
