Being strong, it doesn't require as many sheets to do the job and being soft, it doesn't irritate or scratch while cleaning. I am now indeed, the "King of my throne"!! AND my wife also loves it, which makes her the "Queen of her throne" as well!!

I'm not sure what prompted the need for an "ultra strong" toilet paper. Are people planning to carry around 5 pound poops with them? This stuff is stiff, scratchy and useless. It's hard to believe it's even related to the Charmin product lines. If you love soft, stay away from this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toliet paper is soft and thick as expected and holds up well. The only downfall is that it is kind of linty. I would be willing to sacrifice some of the other qualities a little to reduce the lint left behind.

My husband and I both had issues with this being too rough on our bottoms. I normally buy the Ultra Soft and when I had my husband pick up toilet paper he bought the wrong one. Needless to say he won't make that mistake again. We are back to the Ultra Soft once again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Charmin Ultra Strong. It's wonderful when I don't have to worry about any leaking or having to unroll half the roll. I know you know what I'm talking about. I mean, what are manufactures thinking about all the thin toilet paper? I have experienced the "recycled" and saver toilet paper and it's great to use less and recycle but it's not great to have everything go through the paper or have it tear. I'd rather have something stronger and use less because then I'll actually use less. Charmin Ultra Strong just makes me happy to be home after I've had to use store, restaurant, etc. restrooms. Also what's better then knowing you can always walk into a store, grab Charmin Ultra Strong and know it won't let you down? Nothing.

I've tried it all, from the "green" recycled stuff, to the "1000 sheets a roll" junk, to the 3-ply overkill high-cost TP. This Charmin Soft & Strong is a perfect balance of quilted, 2-ply, yet strong enough to not have to worry about the dreaded "breakthrough". Highly recommend this for everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paper on the roll was not soft at all. It was like using sandpaper. The paper was too thick for use and didn't wipe clean. Had to use twice or three times as much of this brand than the one we use. We gave the other 3 rolls away with similar complaints. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The cost is more for less satisfaction.

I have a cold and have used this instead of tissue and my nose is not scratched up like it would be with other brands. Also, it's strong enough not to fall apart which is great. I used to use Charmin Basic but will be switchign to Charmin Ultra Strong.

For many years I was raised on the same paper with which to clean myself with. Now no longer a boy, but a man, I have decided to take what I wipe with into my own hands. No longer shall I toil over ripped pieces of regular two-ply or the much more dreaded...one-ply, but i shall rejoice and revel in the comfort that is Charmin Ultra Strong. Compared to most toilet papers I rate this product a five star because of not only the quality and comfort, but as the name suggests the strength of the paper as well. I did not once have an issue with ripping, tearing, or clumps of any sort which to me is a very important aspect. I will most certainly be purchasing more of this product to fill my bathrooms with.
