Always used Charmin products. Most recently using Charmin Ultra Strong. After only two years our septic system had to be opened up and pumped out (on a weekend, paying premium overtime triple fees) because the system backed up into the house. It's always been 4-5 years between pumping out our septic tank, so this was a real surprise. Turns out the Charmin Ultra Strong doesn't deteriorate in our septic tank, and there was such a thick (more than three feet) layer of undigested Charmin floating on top it clogged up everything. Ultra Strong Charmin may be "Safe" for septic systems as printed on the package, but compared to what? Aluminum foil? Wax paper? Cardboard? Unfortunately, now we've had to switch to another brand that we don't like as well as our Charmin. Disappointing, and a very expensive lesson learned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed the Charmin ultra strong toilet paper is way thicker than most paper and definitely stronger so you don't have to use as much. I don't agree it's the softest toilet paper around. But it is definitely strong which we like. The rolls are much smaller than the ones we buy but it lasts longer due to how strong and how little you need to use. With a different brand you need to use more to make sure the tp won't tear.... and the kids use too much! All in all, we like this toilet paper and will consider switching ours to Charmin Ultra Strong.

I love the product as it doesn't not disintegrate when I am wiping. It is soft. Many times I can use only 1 sheet therefore saving a lot of money. I love that you are proud enough to put your name on the tissue. I look every time I to see whether it is on the tissue I am using. I find it on average every 3rd sheet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the Charmin Ultra Strong bath tissue as I do consider myself a toilet paper connisure. Taking it out of the box, I noticed it did have some give which is a good sign of softness, but only touching it will truly let you know, so that was what I did next. I removed a roll from the package and I noticed the indented pattern in the tissue. I also noticed it did not immediately feel as soft as my current brand, so I grabbed my current roll and gave it a feel test. Sure enough, my current brand was softer and did not have any indentations of pattern in the paper. I prefer a soft and smooth paper, patterns do nothing for me at all. My next test was durability, so I held a square of the Charmin Ultra Strong and attempted to pull it apart. It was not easy to do, which indicated to me that it was indeed, strong. I then did the same with my current paper and it did tear a little quicker than the Charmin. Now was the true test, putting into action. The Charmin did not disappoint. It did the job it stated it would do, it stayed tough and did not allow for what I call "pop through." This means my fingers did not pop through the paper while using it, which is the worst thing I can think of when using toilet paper. All in all, I was very satisfied with the strength of the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper, but given my regular brand is about as storng but softer, I will be sticking to it. That is not to say that I have not and will not continue to talk up the strength and durability of Charmin Ultra Strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am usually not a big fan of two-ply tissue. Usually, it takes that single-ply, scratchy stuff to feel clean, right? (Yeah, I know, TMI) But now, I am loving the Ultra Strong Charmin! Strong, soft, and cleans great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I and my family have been using Charmin Ultra Strong now for about 10 days. We were using Kirkland Brand up until we started using Charmin. We are very happy with the size of the roll, the softness of the tissue and the strength of the tissue. We are now loyal users of this tissue and we will not be going back to our old brand. We will be stocking up with Charmin...This tissue by far is one of the best out there and we highly recommend it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought upon looking at the Charmin was that it didn't look as strong or soft as the toilet paper that I usually use. It doesn't seem as soft but it is definitely stronger. It seemed thinner then the other toilet paper but it definitely held its own. The texture felt kind of rough. Keep in mind this is just my first impression. I will have to provide more feedback as the campaign continues. The jury is still out on whether or not I'll continue to use it once the campaign is over but at the very least it could be my number two toilet paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the package it reminded me of the strong Charmin type that's already out in the market. I open the package either thinking it'll probably be the same as that or tough like a paper towel. But to my surprise it felt still the regular charmin brand toilet paper. It was soft and probably 4 ply. When you use it it's tough and soft as you would imagine. So if your toilet paper gets ripped way too often r isn't absorbent enough this will definitely do the job.

The original size of a sheet of toilet paper (TP) was 4.5 x 4.5 inches. The continual shrinking of the sheet size may present a health hazard due to "toilet paper malfunction". The smaller sheet size makes it more likely to contaminate your hands during the cleansing process. The original size of the TP sheets was chosen for a reason and shrinking of the sheets may well place our health in danger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While trying to stay politically correct and safe for work, I can simply say that this product does a fantastic job. Strong and durable, this tissue wipes up the competition. It leaves no clumps/tissue bits, which speaks for it's strength. I'll honestly say that I've used Charmin for most of my adult life. While trying other brands and finding numerous faults, Charmin always performs well and does a proper job.
