[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're normally users of Charmin Ultra Soft, so I was curious to see how Ultra Strong held up when put to the test. After trying it for a couple of weeks now, I can say that it definitely is strong; however, it's not as soft. But, that's why it's not called Ultra Soft, right? :) I've never been too concerned with the strength of TP before, so I'm not totally sold. I'd rather see a soft TP that's also more environmentally friendly (recycled fibers, etc.). I guess if what you're after is Ultra Strong, then you have a winner.

I typically don't have a problem with this product but this time I made my purchase in a rush as my children were a bit hyper and as a result, I was in a hurry. Once I got the product home and went to store it as I usually do, I noticed the majority of the roles seemed to have been wet and then dried out over time. I am almost positive this is something that did not happen at the factory, but at the store, I tried to take it back to the purchase location, but they would not take it back because it was open and was told I would have to submit some type of complaint to the manufacturer and that is where I am having a hard time. Seems almost impossible to reach someone via the internet. So, here I am forced to leave a negative public review when I really would rather not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NEW Charmin IS a narrower roll of toilet paper. Is this recycled paper? It that what gives it extra STRENGTH? The softness has gone by the wayside and I just can't find a way to give up my current brand. So it may be back to the drawing board because this has no real soft appeal.

It would be an amazing product if they would have also left it as soft as the rest. I'm not sure I'll be buying this product. I'll just stick to their Ultra Soft one

It's strong enough to "do the job" but also soft for those more sensitive areas! I'll never use anything else but Charmin Ultra Strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ultra charmin was great toilet paper! It held up great to kingdom. The paper is soft yet strong and can handle any Kings job. I will buy ultra charmin from now on because the generic paper I have been using feels like sandpaper to me now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had been a Charmin user in the past I was very willing to give them another try, after all I was not too sure why I stopped purchasing Charmin lately, so why not reevaluate. The name Charmin Ultra Strong is not deceiving, it is intend a strong toilet tissue. Some of the issues with tissue that is made to stand up to large messes and get the job done is that softness is compromised to bring the toughness that the job needs. I have no grips about Charmin Ultra Strong not getting the job done or being too thin because it is not, however, it is not quite soft enough either. Don't get me wrong you aren't going to feel like you are wiping with sandpaper, but it is not cotton soft either. At a good price and with a coupon Charmin can make its way back into my home, and is good enough to have as a back up or even for the guest bathroom, but I will stick with the brand I have been purchasing and enjoy the cotton-pillow like softness that has been caressing my bum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] as toilet paper goes it's a good product. but it's not my first pick. my first would have to be angelsoft. the papers good and will last alittle longer than most. it's soft and I was able to use less at a time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never really thought about the quality of the toilet paper I was using until I was challenged to review it - upon thinking about it I realized that there is a significant difference. The cheap stuff is thin & tears easily while having a scratchy feel. This charmin ultra strong has none of those inconveniences it doesn't tear off in my hand before I want it to - it's soft when using I like it I'm gonna continue to use it. Now that I've experienced the luxury side of TP I've decided to stay you can bet on it. I plan to continue get the softer, stronger charmin ultra

I had exclusively used Charmin Ultra Strong for my family for years. This favorite briefly disappeared from store shelves at the beginning of the pandemic. Upon it's return, I was elated to have it back. Unfortunately, it's not the same. It's very rough and seems thinner. I originally though we somehow got a counterfeit pack but a second pack confirmed it was a change in the real product. Then I wondered if it was a temporary change that allowed Charmin to roll out paper more quickly. I see from Charmin's response that this was a product "improvement". Charmin, as you can see by all of your new one-star reviews, your texture change was not an improvement. It pains me to say it but I can't wait to finish the rest of the Charmin so we can move onto a different brand. Goodbye 2020 and Charmin, hello 2021 and toilet paper that doesn't feel like a cactus.
