Charmin is in fact on the top of my list and as you can see is the one i already buy and use. Now with this specific product i have some mixed feelings, i really can't find the difference between the Charmin Basic and the ultra Strong. I used them both, felt them and touched them and they are pretty much the same to me. Still think is a great brand and will continue to use it only if is the same or equal price as the Basic and if is not i don't think i would pay more for it.

I always figured that is just how it was and never thought about buying the more expensive brands. After using the Charmin Ultra Strong, my eyes have been opened to how ignorant I was. This toilet paper is soft and gentle on the bum and feels more like cotton product than a paper product. It is supper strong and I have been finding that I use less. The toilet paper I have been buying leaves bits of paper behind, which I hated. The Charmin leaves no paper behind and stays whole for the entire job. After using my old toilet paper the second time in one day my bum would be irritated and tender, but with Charmin I can wipe for days and not be irritated or tender. This is the best toilet paper I have ever used and I will be buying more when I run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, it's a difficult task to review toilet paper. First things first, it gets the job done. Now on to the specifics. There isn't much on a roll, so much so that it didn't even last half a day with a family of four that includes a ten year old and a teenager. It is quite thick, which I suppose is the point. But thickness does not mean better. Sparing the details of number two, this makes clean-up a little more difficult compared with the use of the thinner papers. I likely will not purchase this toilet paper in the future because as a family we agreed to keep our tried and true.

But I realized that because it was different than what I was used to, I probably grabbed more than what was needed. The next time I tried it I grabbed less and felt better about it. I like the fact that by using less each time I will be saving money by purchasing toilet paper less.

Awful toilet paper. Feels like my Bounty paper towels. Should be labeled ultra hard instead of ultra strong. This is the hardest toilet paper I've ever used. I'm fearful it's going to stop up my toilet as yo're not supposed to flush paper towels down the toilet. Unfortunately, I bought 2 mega packs but I can't continue to use this toilet paper or shall I say toilet paper sized paper towels.

I grew up with the Charmin name; and we had (until several years ago) been using Charmin Ultra Soft within my own family. However, once we discovered Charmin Ultra Strong, the search was OVER! In my own humble opinion, there is no other bathroom tissue quite like Charmin Ultra Strong. It lives up to its name and then some. 1) The strength is evident in the process. The required number of TP tissues is significantly lower than that of any brand we have tried. 2) The texture is as appealing as that of Charmin Ultra Soft, while significantly improving on "quality of duty" so-to-speak! 3) The durability is matched by none on the market today. The cleanliness of process without residue of the product being left "behind" (pun intended) is excellent! With being a superior product as detailed above, the ultimate payoff from Charmin Ultra Strong comes in the form of money savings: that is, less product used per "session" turns into money saved at the store! Who would have guessed that the old standard toliet tissue could be replaced so easily if I just would have tried it sooner. There is no comparison for softness, Charmin Ultra Strong wins hands down! I am now a believer and have already purchased a supply of a new found treasure for my family in the bathroom department. Thanks Charmin
