However, soft and strong are unfortunately mutually exclusive here. The TP is also one sided - if the "quilted" side is supposed to be soft, I don't want to know what the less textured side feels like. It gets the job done but I'll be sticking with Cottonelle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love charmin brand tissue, its strong but still soft for your bum. As my wife says I stay in the bathroom and this tissue goes a long way compared to others. We will start buying this on a regular basis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really didn't know what to expect when I first received my sample package. It arrived shortly after I completed the questionaire, and I noted the packaging was bright, colorful and eye-catching. I could immediately tell what type of tissue I was receiving and immediately created a set of expectations... for the tissue to live up to the brand name reputation, and for it to be efficient and strong. Once I placed it on the holder (it fit perfectly), I was ready to go. I used the tissue for both restroom needs and to blow my nose. In both cases, I used "too much" on the first attempt, thinking it would need more to be effective. I was wrong, and soon learned I could use less and still accomplish my need. So, it has been effective, and I used less. Nice. It was also soft enough to be comfortable as well as useful. I have not had a personal need to buy toilet tissue yet, I still continue to use my sample. So, I have not looked at pricing at the store. I will do so, and hope it to be moderately priced. I did note there were no coupons for me to give to friends/family. But, I have talked about it some with my family.

When I first put this in our guest bathroom, the guests and I directly noticed the change. It was a huge upgrade over my old TP. The quality is great, extra soft on the skin, ultra strong in the waste. Love the product and the brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is, in fact, ultra strong. You will use significantly less Charmin compared to other brands. Despite its strength, the paper is surprisingly soft and forgiving. I wouldn't be able to use any other paper after trying this.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of Charmin was not spared woith tis product! It is durable, soft and perfect! Thank you Charmon!

This is what my wife asked me when I told her that I'd be receiving a free package of Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper to review. I must say I didn't really know at the time. I didn't know what to say at first because Charmin was already the brand we used at our house and we were used to a much higher quality toilet paper. It is easy to forget that not all toilet paper is created equal after I experienced some places that had pretty poor toilet paper. One of the main things I noticed about Charmin's Ultra Strong toilet paper was that it was a lot stronger and thicker than some of the other cheaper products out there. Some other toilet papers are so thin you can see through a single sheet and they rip significantly just trying to take some off the roll. You won't have that trouble with Charmin Ultra Strong. A single square is thick and there is no problem tearing it off the roll. Another benefit of the thickness and strength is that you don't need to use nearly as much of it. The paper thin stuff required a good many more squares to be able to clean with than the Charmin Ultra Strong. Another additional benefit of the thickness is that if needed you can use this toilet paper to even wipe up minor messes that happen particularly if you have kids who don't always hit the bowl. The softness of the Charmin Ultra Strong is a bit more mixed than the strength of it. I felt that the Ultra Strong was softer than say the paper thin brands, but softness was not the first thing that I really thought about it. It was comfortable and I had no issue with it, but I wouldn't necessarily call it soft either. So overall I felt that Charmin Ultra Strong lives up to its name. It is an ultra strong and thick toilet paper that also manages to be softer than the thinner varieties. There may be softer toilet papers out there, but Charmin's is a fine toilet paper. I'm ultimately not sure about their money saving ability, but I can say that you'd be having a toilet paper that is much stronger, thicker, and softer than a good number of toilet papers out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use Charmin, only I use the basic. I didn't see the point in spending the extra money on the strong. Until now that is. It is a wonderful toilet paper, very strong. True to the name, and very reliable like most Charmin. It could be a tad softer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never had a clue that there was a better class of TP. And now I know and it's so much better I can't go back. This is so much stronger and gentler. And since its stronger I used a lot less than before so the rolls lasted a LONG time.

I have never felt such a quality toilet paper, and it is cheaper than competitor toilet paper. I will definately be switching my toilet paper, and suggest you do the same.
