I assume, in an effort to maintain certain price points, you have decided to downsize the roll, both in sheet count and size. The product is not as dense as before and does not do the job. I had switched to Charmin Ultra Strong several years age after all the other brands, including private label had downsized to the point of total garbage. I fear you are close to that point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While deciding what to write I glanced at the January 2015 issue of Consumer Reports and saw that Charmin Ultra Strong is rated by CR as a best buy! It truly is the strongest toilet paper I have ever used. Stronger paper means using fewer sheets which is good for both the environment and the wallet. It is not the softest toilet paper I have used but it is certainly soft enough that it is not irritating in any way. Once again Charmin comes out on top!

It not only has the added softness to make the wiping more comfortable, but it has the strength needed to get the cleaning job done right. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At home, we typically use the Charmin Ultra Soft tissue. For this activity, I've changed the roll to the Ultra Strong. I can certainly see why it's called ultra strong. The tissue doesn't rip like the softer tissue does. When breaking off pieces, the ultra strong tears on the line every time! On the down side, it can be rough on your behind if you're not feeling well and visiting the throne multiple times a day. in the end, both have their uses, but I think I'd prefer to stick with the Ultra Soft.

I normally would buy the cheapest brand possible but it just was not cutting our needs any more especially for our children. We found they were using way more toilet paper than needed simply because of how thin the sheets were. This in turn caused major clogging in our bathroom. I noticed a huge difference instantly when i switched to Charmin Ultra Strong. Each sheet is way more thick and better textured for a cleaner wipe. Unlike other brands, Charmin does not rip or tear while using. My children can now use way less sheets which I'm sure our toilet really appreciates and so far we have not had any clogging. Not only are the sheets super strong but they are also soft which is just as important. The strong and soft are so well balanced that there's no flaking or crumbling of the tissue. Charmin Ultra Strong holds up to its name and purpose. I use to believe all toilet paper is the same but after using this brand, I now know which brand to trust.

I have purchased the ultra strong mega rolls for many years. I am so disappointed in the quantity and quality of the rolls now. Definitely not what they used to be. The rolls are much smaller, I don't know why you call it a "mega" roll anymore, and it certainly isn't ultra strong anymore. My most recent purchase was the 18 roll mega/ultra strong and I think you need to change your description of this product. In my opinion it is no longer "woven like a washcloth" and you can no longer use less because it shreds apart. I thought maybe I got a mislabeled package. Even the size of the squares are smaller. Instead of trying to deceive us with all of your different sizes of packaging why don't you just stick to one size and if you are going to call it ultra strong make sure that is what you are giving us.
It looks like I am going to have to start looking for a different brand that lives up to its name.

Charmin toilet paper sure is super strong ad soft. Regular bathroom tissue does not even begin to compare. The texture is different, the results are different. I would recommend this toilet paper to everyone. Big or small. I have replaced my current toilet paper with Charmin!

I don't have to use no where near as much toilet paper and I feel clean all day long. It truly is a great brand. I have even made some friend use the bathroom at my house just so they could try it too
