Ordered to pick up at the club Tuesday. Cut it Thursday afternoon and it appears to have been refrigerated so cold that the rind was mush up to the meat. If the shopper doesn't know how to store the produce once it's been picked, they should not be putting together orders. This same order also contained a frozen watermelon. Do you know how expensive this stuff is???

Bean from Nevada, We are very lucky because Hawaii is just right across the way in an airplane. Having lived in Hawaii pineapples are relatively easy good food. A fruit that is available year round. Sam's club always has great fruit. Not this time. A third of the pineapple was rotten to the core. The other was as hard as a rock. This was completely unexpected of Sam's club fruit. Nasty nasty horrible experience for a pineapple. Worst pineapple ever.

This pineapple looked beautiful. Looks like it was fresh picked and was huge. Unfortunately it was not ripe. The bottom half was edible but the top was dry, hard and tasteless. Its not really Sams club fault, the growers should not be cutting them when they are clearly not ripe its definitely noticable it is not. Its not good for anything.

I love fresh pineapple. It looked great, nice and firm. When I tried to use pineapple tool it was to mushy. I cut it with a knife. Although it had a lot of juice, the pineapple was like wood. Even smelled like it was fermenting. Better off with regular grocery store for produce.

Eating the fresh fruit itself is the only way to benefit from all the goodness Pineapple offers. Nothing compares. Another-words, processed fruits do not contain all the benefits that come along when eating at the natural unprocessed state. Even the simple process of pasteurization destroys irreplaceable components. Eat natural and enjoy.

I always get fruit from Sam's. This was my first time getting a pineapple and my last. Yeah had a weird look to it but I got the best looking one. I cut it open.. And It was weird looking and obviously rotted In many areas and it had a weird smell to it. I had a bad feeling when I bought it.But my toddler was begging for pineapple.. So I did my best to pick out the best looking one I could find.. I'm extremely disappointed. Like I said, before I constantly buy a lot of fruit from here.. But I won't be buying any more pineapples.

I read the bad reviews and thought it must be user error, they don't know how to tell if a pineapple is ripe, etc. I bought 2 and waited a couple days. One was alright, not juicy and sweet like one I got from the local grocer. The second... ugh. I had almost finished cutting it and tried a piece, it was SO nasty. Looked perfectly fine and everything, but it was definitely bad. The price is right, but I wish the pineapples were actually good.
