The pineapples at Sam’s are almost always larger than what I can get at the grocery store (Kroger) at a similar or lower price; more pineapple for the $$.  They always offer the gold pineapples that are sweet tasting.

Sam’s Pineapple

I picked up a fresh pineapple from Sam’s Club and was genuinely impressed. The fruit was perfectly ripe, with golden flesh that was juicy, fragrant, and naturally sweet—no added sugar needed! It sliced beautifully and made a vibrant addition to smoothies and salads. Great value for the quality, and it stayed fresh for days. Highly recommend grabbing one on your next trip!

Sweet Surprise from Sam’s Club

Sweet and delicious pineapple. Perfect texture and not tart. Eat it as a snack and then froze the rest of it after slicing it. Grateful for smoothies out of the freezer.

Juicy and delicious

I have purchased pineapples at various grocery stores within my local community. I can state, hands down, the Tropical Gold pineapples are some of the sweetest pineapples I have tasted. I love home made smoothies. Price is not my deciding criteria but taste is.  If you want the sweetest tasting pineapples to be your base for all your smoothies I prefer using Tropical Gold amongst the best product to set the standards.

Pineapple is always a good choice. Twist off the top and sit upside down in a bowl and it will ripen quickly and evenly. Just don't let it sit too long!

Delicious, healthy choice!

The sweetest pineapple comes from Sams.  We juice alot and I would get 5 to 6 pineapple when I goes there. Thet went up on the price so high. I know the cost of living is changing but almost 20 cent more on a pineapple? Its really hard.

Good quality, but grocery store consistently beats the price. We buy just cause it's convenient
while there to pick it up.  Wish they would bring down price a bit.

I am sure the pineapples are delicious. I selected one that seemed to be the correct color and weight for a ripe pineapple. I picked poorly. I picked one that was just beyond green. It was dry and crunchy with very little juice. We ate it in Greek yogurt so it sweetened the sour tasting plain yogurt.

Pineapple has a lot of brown spots to cut out.  You waste a lot of the pineapple.  Not sure if pineapples are getting too cold during shipping or bruised.  I have purchased pineapple from Sam's for several years and it was never like this.  Going else where to buy my pineapples

Bad Pineapples

Second time, back to back, that I’ve had a pickup order with a fresh pineapple. Both times it has been rotten with in 1-3 days of buying and I’ve had to throw them out. (1st time 3 days after buying; 2nd time very next day after buying)
