Pineapples are now widely available in many stores. I prefer Sam's pineapples for the price but also for the quality. I usually can find larger, riper pineapples at Sam's than at other stores and at a better price. I have a method of cutting a pineapple so as to minimize waste and maximizing edible flesh. There is usually a container of fresh pineapple in one of out refrigerators. One thing I like to do, especially when we are having guest is to offer a baked spiced pineapple as an unusual and very tasty desert. Pineapple is always a good choice. Twist off the top and sit upside down in a bowl and it will ripen quickly and evenly. Just don't let it sit too long!

The pineapples at Sam’s are almost always larger than what I can get at the grocery store (Kroger) at a similar or lower price; more pineapple for the $$. They always offer the gold pineapples that are sweet tasting.

Second time, back to back, that I’ve had a pickup order with a fresh pineapple. Both times it has been rotten with in 1-3 days of buying and I’ve had to throw them out. (1st time 3 days after buying; 2nd time very next day after buying)

They were rotten and some unripe VERY DISAPPOINTED!

This pineapple was BEYOND rotten. It was perfect on the outside and stinky and rotten on the inside. Was really disappointed.

It was cut short prematurely.

1st pineapple went bad (black), when remove the skin. Returned and get 2nd pineapple outside skin green , wait few days for it to turn color but it get kind of darker green instead of yellow. It look like frost bite or frozen. All pineapple this time no good

First pineapple I have ever purchased that was rotten. Not a little rotten the entire inside was rotten. Whoever picked it for my curbside order had to know when they put it in my order that it was rotten. You could put your finger through it.

Purchased what appeared to be a perfect pineapple and it was rotten on the inside. See for yourself. I didn’t take it back to the store as I should have. I won’t be buying rotten pineapples from Sam’s Club anymore. Disappointing.
