Good quality, but grocery store consistently beats the price. We buy just cause it's convenient while there to pick it up. Wish they would bring down price a bit.

Sweet and delicious pineapple. Perfect texture and not tart. Eat it as a snack and then froze the rest of it after slicing it. Grateful for smoothies out of the freezer.

Just perfectly ripe & sweet. I find Sam's fruits are better quality and more varieties as season's change.

The pineapple looked like potatoes when cut. The color was awful and the taste was like nothing. Nobody ate any and it got thrown out. A waste of 2.99

The pineapple I bought this week looked perfectly fine but after a day on the countertop, started to smell bad. I cut it open thinking it was overripe but no, it was good looking throughout but the taste in the upper 2/3 was bad (it tasted what it smelled) while the taste close to the bottom was the normal good and sweet. We ended-up throwing it away. This is the second time this is happening to us.

I have purchased pineapples at various grocery stores within my local community. I can state, hands down, the Tropical Gold pineapples are some of the sweetest pineapples I have tasted. I love home made smoothies. Price is not my deciding criteria but taste is. If you want the sweetest tasting pineapples to be your base for all your smoothies I prefer using Tropical Gold amongst the best product to set the standards.

I am sure the pineapples are delicious. I selected one that seemed to be the correct color and weight for a ripe pineapple. I picked poorly. I picked one that was just beyond green. It was dry and crunchy with very little juice. We ate it in Greek yogurt so it sweetened the sour tasting plain yogurt.

Buy this weekly and never disappointed! Sweet and good value.
