Purchased a jar of strawberry jam this weekend. There is an odd metallic taste and smell. The consistency even seems off.

This product is over all good as far as the Jam goes but the description is not. The description says 64 oz., 2 pk. the jars are 32 oz., 2 pk. The description is not right!

I actually never read the label for jam or jelly, but I love them both. I haver never had a problem with the taste or quality of sucker's peoduck. Always good to the last drop. Please keep making it as grate as you do. Love love love it. Thank you for a great product!

We have been enjoying our favorite Smucker's Strawberry Jam for 65 years. We were very disappointed with our last purchase and only found tiny bits of strawberries in the jam. Also it was much like jello and could only be spread on bread by warming it in the microwave. Sadly we will not purchase Smucker's Strawberry Jam ever again.

My daughter was nervous to try it and then fell in love with this. This will be a staple in our house. Goodbye grape jelly and hello strawberry jam!

Yes, sweet, very sweet, almost cheap candy sweet. What a waste of strawberries. Returned the product for the reason it contains High Fruticose Corn Syrup, one of the worst sweeteners anyone could ingest. Strawberry Jam made from healthy ripe strawberries is sweet all by itself, why destroy a good thing. However, if one needs to add a small bit of sweetness… adding tiny amounts of pure unrefined whole cane sugar (contains sucrose, fructose and glucose) would be the healthier choice. Adding refined (chemically stripped of everything good) white table sugar to the product would not be sufficient. Also white table sugar can be produced from sources other than cane. Best to use raw unrefined cane sugars, they are as natural as can be. Known products such as Panela or Turbinado sugar. Bottom line the product is overly sweetened, and worse sweetened with an unnatural industrialized product named, "High Fruticose Corn Syrup".

I love Smuckers Strawberry Jam! The preserves have chunks of berries, and the jelly is too thin! The Jam however is the perfect consistency to spread on toast. The taste is so yummy! That’s all I buy is Strawberry Jam for breakfast. If I’m making danish with Crescent rolls then I use Strawberry preserves with the cream cheese because you need it thicker. Love, love, love Smuckers!

I have eaten the strawberry jam on and off my whole life ! I'm 56 years old and while it tastes great I have to say that it has changed the jam isn't jam anymore ! I used to be able to have pieces of strawberry everywhere on my sandwich but now I can barely find them so it's now more jelly than jam !

I agree with Schieben - no solid fruit. I HAD been consuming Smuckers strawberry Jam for years. I loved finding the occasional real strawberry. Now, its simply smashed strawberries and sweetener. No real chunks of strawberries. Smuckers suggests that one purchase their preserves. Thats not what we want. Thats not what Smuckers Strawberry Jam is supposed to be. JAM is a thick mixture of fruit, pectin, and sugar that is boiled gently but quickly until the fruit is soft and has an organic shape, yet is still thick enough that it spreads easily and can form a blob. PRESEVES are spreads that have chunks of fruit surrounded by jelly. Bring back the REAL JAM!!! Please !
