I agree with Schieben - no solid fruit. I HAD been consuming Smuckers strawberry Jam for years. I loved finding the occasional real strawberry. Now, its simply smashed strawberries and sweetener. No real chunks of strawberries. Smuckers suggests that one purchase their preserves. Thats not what we want. Thats not what Smuckers Strawberry Jam is supposed to be. JAM is a thick mixture of fruit, pectin, and sugar that is boiled gently but quickly until the fruit is soft and has an organic shape, yet is still thick enough that it spreads easily and can form a blob. PRESEVES are spreads that have chunks of fruit surrounded by jelly. Bring back the REAL JAM!!! Please !

I always loved Smucker's Jams and Preserves. Until now. The Strawberry jam didn't look the same. It is now an odd bright pink gel thickened juice. There was one small strawberry in the entire 32 oz jar. I did not buy it again. It was awful. Where, oh where have my little strawberries gone? Oh where, oh where can they be? With this jam cut short of berries, And the thick gel to fill out the bottle Oh where, oh where can they be? Sadly after a lifelong love of Smucker's I have found a new love. Farewell to thee. Oh where, oh where can they be?

I have been buying Smuckers strawberry jam for years. For a while I have not been able to find any fruit in it, it is more like jelly. I do not want preserves. I do not want jelly. I'm sorry you changed it, and I also noticed you are using high fructose corn syrup. I guess I'll start making my own again. Not mad but disappointed.

I JUST LOVE THIS JAM ... seriously .. like when I was a kid, my dad always had this jam on the table and dang it was good. One thing I have noticed is that the jam has lost it's original flavor in the past few years. I rate 10/10 ! Keep up the good work !

After many years of buying ONLY Smuckers Strawberry Jam, I must say I’m shocked that you have indeed chosen to take out those great chunks of REAL strawberries. Now it’s no different that the store brand!! You can say that you have not changed the recipe but c’mon let’s be honest here!! I can no longer linger over a delicious muffin with Smuckers “chunky” jam. Instead, I’ll save money and either buy the store brand or search for another that’s a quality brand with chunks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this jam. It had those strawberry pieces that were delicious on a toast with cream cheese. I just don’t like that it has high fructose corn syrup as the second ingredient. And then corn syrup as the third. Making it a not so healthy choice for jam. :/

I have loved your strawberry jam and jelly my whole life what happened it's just terrible you made a change it ruined it and I will have to find a new brand. someone should be fired they just ruined you. Hope you get your brain back someday. Maybe I will just break out grand moms recipe. 0 stars

Very surprised, Smucker Straberry jam used To have a lot of strawberries. Used to buy quite frequently and thought it was great. Just purchased a large jar and I bet there is less than a dozen strawberries in the whole jar. 90 to 95% gelatin . Thumbs down , going to throw the jar away.

Why does the strawberry jam contain high fructose corn syrup? The Smuckers Uncrustables with strawberry jam do not list high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient only sugar. I was disappointed to find that the stand alone jam didn't have the same ingredients.

First time this has happened to me and I am perplexed. I went into our pantry (a cool/dry storage space in our basement) to grab a new jar of strawberry jam. It popped open with that "pop-woosh" sound of a new jar breaking its seal. But when I put the jam on my bagel I realized it was not red but brown. Mind you, it's close to the expiration date but it isn't expired yet. We definitely buy in bulk to save money and utilize our pantry storage, while we get close to expiration dates but I have never seen anything like this looking so spoiled even though it's within the best by date.
