For years we have bought 2 or more of the 32oz size. over the last couple of months the texture and spreadability has become more waxy. Has the ingredient formulation changed for the worse? We prefer the preserves; but, our local stores only handle the small jars. Hoping it will get better.

I have purchased your strawberry jam for years but for the last year or so it's been a big disappointment. What happened to the strawberries, now it's only a jar of sweetened gelatin have you gone the way of other companies and now produce a cheaper product?

As a child, I remember my grandma making biscuits by hand and topping them with smuckers jelly. I have always preferred preserves over regular jelly; as preserves have more of the fruit in the jam. smuckers always have natural ingredients with the natural flavor of the strawberries shining through.

In addition to the high fructose corn syrup issue, I encountered a taste problem. (I omit the use of butter to allow the full flavor of the spread to be tasted.) However, in the case of your strawberry jam, it is sweet but does not taste like strawberry. In fact, if you closed your eyes, you would have no idea of the intended flavor. Sad but true.

It is sweet and so fully of real strawberry flavor. There is just the right amount of fruit bits mixed in that give it texture and interest. This is one of my favorite jellies now.

I love Smuckers Strawberry Jam! The preserves have chunks of berries, and the jelly is too thin! The Jam however is the perfect consistency to spread on toast. The taste is so yummy! That’s all I buy is Strawberry Jam for breakfast. If I’m making danish with Crescent rolls then I use Strawberry preserves with the cream cheese because you need it thicker. Love, love, love Smuckers!

I have enjoyed Smucker's Strawberry Jam for many years! Growing up, Mom made sure we had jelly, homemade until we ran out and then it was Smucker's! We also got government cheese and since I was often hungry after school, a cheese along with toast and Smucker's was the best thing to hold me over!!

I’m not as savvy on jam/jelly texture as some of the others reviewing this product but I can’t tell you that the taste is awful. We used to buy Blackburn’s but haven’t been able to find it in our grocery store recently, so we switched over to Smuckers since that seemed to be the only thing available that was reasonably priced. we bought this product twice - threw out the first and decided a second chance was needed to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. This stuff tastes like straight up chemicals. We’ve resorted to buying more expensive preserves for our jam/jelly needs because we just can’t stand the flavor of Smuckers. Thought you should know.
