Not happy that the chute repeatedly was knocked loose of its 'mooring' and had to be 'restrained' to be of use. Luckily I had the appropriate pair of screws to hold it in place while still allowing it to rotate as necessary. Otherwise it worked just as expected and I am, for the most part, pleased. Quite sure it would not end so well with your less equipped customer(s).

This is a good product I do have a couple of complaints. I am 6 foot tall and find it is made for a shorter person because i have to bend over to use it and it strain my back. Second the discharge chute needed to be put back on a couple of times so maybe add a couple of more retainer screws to hole it in place. I does work as i thought it should otherwise

My Snow Joe purchase incited warmer weather. I suggest everyone buy one. LOL It seriously has not snowed since my purchase. I will update this review as soon as I get the opportunity to use the machine. I am sure it will be wonderful compared to hand shovelling. :)

Do not buy this snow blower. The snow blower is worthless because the chute does not stay locked in place! The chute comes unlocked after a minute or less when using the snow blower. The motor is good. The chute is the issue! Invest in a better quality and more expensive snow blower.

I used it for the first time today with about 3 inches of fluffy snow, after 5 minutes the chute flopped over, I fixed it and within another 5 minutes the chute flopped over again, so I drilled a hole in the chute base and put a second screw in the base. Also, the plastic blade handle is weak and very loose, it feels like it will break very easily.

This product does a great job, as long as your expectations are realistic. The assembly is straight forward. The spin-knobs are easier to work with than plain old nuts and bolts. The directions are clear but, you almost don't need them. My only real complaint about this unit would be the plastic wheels. They provide very little traction for turning the unit around corners. Rubber tires would be a nice improvement. That said, the unit is light weight and easily maneuvered. The throwing distance is better than I expected. Highly recommended!

I use it for a small concrete patio and some lawn area for my dog to use and a small area just outside the garage. It cleans right down to the bare concrete. I was surprised by how well it did in 7" wet snow. Only drawback was when I lifted it to skim over an area, it threw the snow back onto my feet.

Nice and light weight. Went together easily. Some people complained about the snow chute falling off but, #1 don't carry it around by the chute. It is held on by one screw true enough, But there are also three interlocks, The screw is there more to keep the interlocks tight rather then for strength. It does move the snow though. I consider it a great value.

Ever since I bought it. It has not snowed, so have not been able to use it. I can't wait for Winter to try it out. Maybe now I've bought one it won't snow again? Ever since I bought a generator, the power has not gone out! So, obviously both machines are a success.

I've only used the Snow Joe about four times as it early in the season. However, as we get a lot of snow in Montreal, I expect to use it a number of times on my single driveway, front walkway and a large deck in the back. So far it seems to get the job done adequately. I needed a small snow thrower as I have to drag it up the stairs through the house to get it to the deck and it's quite heavy. As well, I need to store it in my small garage. Two cons are that it was somewhat difficult to assemble and the electric version is a real pain as the cord is constantly getting in the way. Maybe there is a technique but I haven't figured it out. Sometimes the throw height is very good and other times it just throws a little, even when it's not clogged. It does save me from shoveling a lot of heavy snow and I expect to give it a good workout this winter...
