Not happy that the chute repeatedly was knocked loose of its 'mooring' and had to be 'restrained' to be of use. Luckily I had the appropriate pair of screws to hold it in place while still allowing it to rotate as necessary. Otherwise it worked just as expected and I am, for the most part, pleased. Quite sure it would not end so well with your less equipped customer(s).

I used it for the first time today with about 3 inches of fluffy snow, after 5 minutes the chute flopped over, I fixed it and within another 5 minutes the chute flopped over again, so I drilled a hole in the chute base and put a second screw in the base. Also, the plastic blade handle is weak and very loose, it feels like it will break very easily.

My Snow Joe purchase incited warmer weather. I suggest everyone buy one. LOL It seriously has not snowed since my purchase. I will update this review as soon as I get the opportunity to use the machine. I am sure it will be wonderful compared to hand shovelling. :)

I bought this Snow Joe a couple of weeks ago and I am thoroughly happy about this product. I have a 2 car driveway to clear and I found that this unit is doing the job just fine. It works great when you push the snow all to one side of the driveway and then throw the snow with the Snow Joe. It is dependable and you don't have to worry about all the problems associated with a gas unit. I am also pleased with how far it shoots the snow.

Do not buy this snow blower. The snow blower is worthless because the chute does not stay locked in place! The chute comes unlocked after a minute or less when using the snow blower. The motor is good. The chute is the issue! Invest in a better quality and more expensive snow blower.

used for the first time on my deck. had 5-6" of wet, fairly compacted snow and this little guy buzzed right through it effortlessly. I was impressed by the throw distance coming from the chute. Glad I bought it and the price for value is excellent.

I am a retired and have found it impossible to handle bigger Snow Blowers. This Snow Joe has worked well on snows of 1-4 inches. The fact that the electric cord is required does make it harder to use than a battery would be, but given the cost difference, I am willing to put up with the cord. (My brother suggested to keep the cord in a warm area and that helps.)

Assembly was easy. 5" of snow fell not two days after I received this snow blower. The job that normally took almost an hour was done in 20 minutes. There was even a layer of ice under the snow that the scraper was able to get under and remove. So far very satisfied.

Had plastic smells when it was used the first time. It can only removes evenly spreaded snow powder of no more then 1' depth and can't completely replace the old manual snow shovel. As it carries a 3 yr warranty i'll keep it to wait and see if it'll eventually work.

This is a very powerful and handy machine for removing snow. We had an 8 in snowfall, and it did my drive and my neighbor's drive with no problems. Of course, because it is hooked up to 100 ft of powercord, there is a learning curve on how to do it. Also, the snow director on top would fly off if too much snow flowed through it. Checked directions again, and then put a screw in a hole making the turning ability impossible. Will have to figure this problem out.
