It started to go out of whack like it lost control on the menu screen for Madden 22 on my PC and I took the batteries out and put another pair in. It didn’t help so I figured the controller took a dive and is defective. I even used Windows 10 Controller Config and still didn’t work right. I am returning this one and getting another XBox One Controller at the Supercenter soon.

This is a great product to buy if you play casually or competitively. I would suggest buying a rechargeable battery pack for this controller as battery ran out in a matter of 3 days. Overall 10/10. Great response time, feels good, and works well on PC if you play on PC. The controller is kind of loud when you first buy it, but that’ll go away as you play.

Developed stick drift within a week after purchase. Unless you want to spend $60 every couple months, I highly recommend to purchase the extended warranty as these controllers are notorious for getting stick drift. I’ve gone through six controllers within the last year and a half and each and every one developed stuck drift. Warranty saved me every time. GET. THE. WARRANTY!! Think about it pay $60 every 3 months or pay $7 once for 2 years of peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly haven't opened it yet, because it is a gift, not for me. But I have used several current Xbox Series controllers before, and know that Microsoft's level of quality is top-notch, and this particular red color scheme looks gorgeous!

Within a week or so, some “component” came loose between the left stick and the left trigger getting caught between them intermittently. After a bit that stopped but then just after 2 months of ownership it stopped working almost entirely. Would turn the Xbox on but was otherwise entirely unresponsive. I’ve never had such an enormous letdown from Microsoft so I didn’t get a warranty. Bought a new one, hopefully green is more durable.

Well made. Not too light, not to heavy. Sticks and buttons have a solid, professional feel. Gameplay is smooth. Well worth the money if you're serious about your gaming. I was buying the cheaper brands of controllers to save money, but they never last no matter how light handed and careful you are with them, I always have a problem with one of the sticks moving by itself, won't happen again. Official XBOX controller is the way to go.

i got this controller august 9th of this year, it just randomly disconnects and now refuses to pair, while shutting off every time it would sync, turning back on into no pair mode. hardly over a month of ownership and your product is already a paper weight.

I dont like that my package isn't marked as fragile or handle with care. I got my controller with a completely crushed in hole thru its own package(box) into controller. It has a bit of stick drift due to the way it was handled ....So it wasn't my best buy here. Probably better off getting it on the TikTok shop 👌

Works great on Windows 11 via Bluetooth and on my older Xbox One. Mostly got this to replace my ancient wired Xbox 360 controller that I have been playing PC games with. Also works on Linux desktop but may need to make some bluetooth config changes to get around input lag issues on Linux. I only subtracted one star because the controller still uses AA batteries so I have to buy a separate rechargeable battery pack.

It seems that the controller has not been affected but the box certainly was. As you can see by the pic, the box has been torn and apparently cut by a box cutter. Check your purchase when accepting your product from customer pick-up. The package was actually still sealed with the Microsoft sticker. The controller looks great and my granddaughter will love it! Hoping it will be okay.
