[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only reason I bought it was because I had a discount code it was too expensive otherwise

This remote seems to hold up to 4 boys. The only downfall. Is every single day since I bought this remote. The retailer has consistently been asking for a review. Every day I get an alert, this has been going on for a month to where I’m finally giving a review in hopes it stops requesting one.

Bought this controller about a month ago because I had previously bought a new Xbox for my sons birthday in November of 2021. We got the one controller that comes with it and then we also purchased a second blue controller. Had it for less than a year and we started experiencing stick drift in the right sticks in both controllers, along with the A button not always working unless you pushed the home Xbox button first. We purchased the pulse red xbox controller as of recent and it’s already experiencing stick drift on the left stick. Not impressed by the quality that Xbox has downgraded to in recent years as I have never had to replace a controller for any game system. Do not recommend.

It's heavier than the original controller my x box came with. the Duracell batteries it came with are dead, so I went to transfer my rechargeable pack, also from Xbox. They don't fit. They altered the base the batteries rest on and now their own rechargeable batteries packs do not fit. Just looks better than the original. all it has going for it is the new share button. Honestly, if you can get an original for cheaper just do that.

do not buy discount controllers from tgis Walmart this one was discounted i got it for a present for my nephew amd we could not get it turn on no matter what batteries we used, so we fliped it over and the center x box button was stuck down even afyer pressing it and new batteries it still wont turn on,

Always used an elite and it took me awhile to get used to how lightweight it feels and batteries but rechargeable batteries is a must with this controller unless you wanna spend a-lot of money on batteries. Other than that I love it. Elite controllers always had a problem with stick drift and LB and RD just stopped working. This one has lasted longer and it’s cheaper. I like the capture button. Faster and easier to clip game play.

love this controller all i can really complain about is the d-pad it feels very plastic same thing with the controller its self but u dont feel it after 10 mins and if ur complainging about ur rechargeables not fitting i use rechargeable batteries and they work but if u have a rechargeable pack then it most likely wont i dont use the share button its useless but others may use it idk i wish Microsoft makes a metal d-pad

All Xbox controllers are generic for the past few yrs. %26 doesn't matter where you buy it, multiple store, Xbox or Microsoft. My controllers won't last more than 4 mos of very little use. Many yrs ago I used to get 13 mos before the 1st breakage with very heavy use.

I seems to gain technical issues after a short time and they worsen and multiply the more used in fairly new condition. Wear and tear should not factor in the function of a product only after a month of purchase. A well stored and handled with care device should not have glitches that effect game play in good condition and fairly new.It was tolerable for a while but I have gotten frustrated with it's performance. I don't know if it's isolated to this faulty controller or if this happens with any controller in general, I only hope they stand by the protective service plan and resolve my problematic device.
