The way the doors close is not optimal for kids b/c the doors don't close all the way, obviously a huge problem if the adults don't know the fridge is not actually closed. Also when you have a big family the ice maker runs quite a bit then it does not run well. Now a little over a year since I bought this fridge, I have to replace the ice maker. The fridge is also not finger print proof which again is not great if you have a big family with multiple kids.

The freezer interior is more spacious than others since there is no in-door ice/water dispenser. I am not used to removing the ice container yet, so that is a concern. The water filter location in the bottom of the unit is easy to access. I do not think the quality is the same as the 15-year old appliance we replaced. However, I have noticed that is an industry-wide issue. Shelves in the doors can not be adjusted.

Since my location is in corner, two sides still are accessible neatly and comfortably all side and top (range storage fit well). The temp hold well whether more or less open frequency. Matte aluminum look is still universal suit for aesthetic.

The unit has features such as an alarm when the refrigerator or freezer door has been open for too long of a time and things start cooling off it will ding to let you know to shut the refrigerator which is great with my kids. The water and ice machine has been a great addition as well. The water machine is easy to clean and the refrigerator pieces and freezer pieces as well. I love the refrigerator does not leave handprints very easily.
