Tried to order several bags at i believe $5.97, order comes back cancelled with no reason. then go back to web site and price is now $29.00 per bag. That's nice, they are out at the lower price but have plenty at the higher price.

They were mostly a solid block of salt that couldn't even be broken up to poor into the pool. One of the bags were taped where it was torn open. Have the feeling they were very old to be in such condition.

The Clorox salt is almost as fine as table salt. Much finer than other brands I have used. As a result, it dissolves quickly and requires little, if any, brushing in my 16x32 pool.

The product is meant for swimming pools, comes from a well known company, sells for a fairly reasonable price, and being able to purchase it at our local Walmart makes it very convenient.

Common pool salt, but unlike competitors, Sam's stores it inside so the bags are not filthy/nasty. It is also not all clumped up and hard to work with.

I used this as an alternative to sand, which is more expensive and less dense, for a weighted vest and backpack for exercising. For that purpose it performed flawlessly.

only recieved 7 bags of pool salt. got 3 bags of water softener salt which is NOT recommend for pools. did not catch the switch till salt was in the water.
