I used this as an alternative to sand, which is more expensive and less dense, for a weighted vest and backpack for exercising. For that purpose it performed flawlessly.

Clorox pool salt has always been reliable. The improvement is noticeable because the chlorine level in the pool rises considerably every time pool salt is added. Other brands raise the chlorine level but not as high and fast.

The salt dissolves really well and the I have not found a better price anywhere. Plus the person that works there put it in my truck for me! Can't beat that for service.

Salty expensive online.it costs to stay at home (corona) because Walmart doesn’t change the availability of products. They make you go out to there store.

The salt is not clean and left stains on the pool liner that will not brush out. This is apparently common with Clorox salt. Wish I had done my research ahead of time.

Delivery was horrible! Each bag had a hole in and salt was on my driveway up my walkway and on front porch. When transferred to pool area each bag was as hard as a rock. Spent hours putting in a pail and hammering out the solid blocks.

The price has doubled in about three years. Also, one of the bags leaked and messed up my car. I haven’t used it yet, but it’s all I’m sure it’ll be fine after I clean up the mess.,

only recieved 7 bags of pool salt. got 3 bags of water softener salt which is NOT recommend for pools. did not catch the switch till salt was in the water.

Good product.Reasonable price.Walmart just needs to keep it in stock a.little better through the season. It is sometimes hard ro get and is a must for pool maintenance throughout the summer not just at start up.

Driver had a bag of salt tear open and spilled the contents all over her car seat and carpet. Driver said she will be back with another bag of salt. No call or show?
