Many of the garlic cloves were old and unusable that had to be tossed into the garbage. Extremely poor quality.

My wife spends a good three to five minutes checking different bags before she takes one. She knows her produce.

My friends are great chef so I continually buy it for them. Shelf life is a lot longer compare to what you buy at the grocery store. Not one bulb goes to waste.

I purchased this so I could roast and freeze. However, the bulbs were so small that I got hardly anything worth freezing after the roasting. Not worth the money.

These are California grown garlic and not some oversea grown product (thumbs up!). Some were a little rotten, but the price is good compare to the ca grown garlic in other grocery stores.

Best choice for home cooking and canning .. yes, i peel them all at once, mince them in my ninja device and then flash freeze on a parchment lined sheet pan. A 1" x 1" cube of minced garlic is convienent to break off, then use in recipes. Usually when i can my basic tomato sauce i will use up the entire bag and then some depending on my canning intent.
