Disappointed with this purchase.  Many of the heads were moldy so I had to toss them.

Best use by date was the week prior to me picking up

In the last 6 months it seems they are pulling garlic from a stash that has been sitting around for a really long time.

Not impressed

Some of the bulbs had already turned probably because it sat on a ship for awhile waiting to get off loaded, but most of the garlic was fine.

Sadly, the bag I bought was so old I had to throw most of it out! It happens; and since I don’t know when the best time of year to buy garlic is I just take a chance I’m going to get a fresh one. They do advertise it as fresh and that is not true!

Oh, well!

I ferment this whole bag of garlic at one time.  It takes a while to get the skin off but worth it because it is always fresh and the cloves are a good size. I take a half spoonful daily. Also use it in cooking. Wish it was Organic.
