I'm not sure if it's a bad batch. But, the bag I purchased made all of my plants very unhappy. The leaves on some started to droop down others turned yellow or brown on the tips. I ended up replanting them in Miracle-Gro.

After purchasing and using this potting mix for my indoor houseplants I now have gnats - after investigation, it's likely from the soil. I cannot recommend this soil

Potting soil was moist upon opening it for use. Liked that it's not just soil bits, there are other things that will make it great to pot indoors and out. Soil also seems to spread easily when planting, excited to see what sprouts form this!

I didn't get to use this on my house plants. As our snow was melting the water was leaking into our basement and my husband used the whole bag along the foundation. It worked, it absorbed some of the water and prevented further damage.

I used this soil to start growing cucumbers and radish. The soil is very light and seems as if air can get through the soil when it is dry. I will be looking forward to when the plants start growing.

Clumpy, lots of shredded bark and I believe the bags I purchased were old as well. Do not recommend...spend a little more and get Miracle Grow potting soil, a much better product.

Dont buy. Bought cause 20% cheaper & great reviews, which vendor must have wrote. Was very dry, full of sticks, leaves, chunks of wood, more like mulch than potting soil. Took all back, bought Miracle-Gro.

This potting soil is good, I used it to plant all my herbs outside in little pots and they are all thriving. Will purchase it again soon, when I plant my garden in the fall

The potting mix seems to contain high-quality ingredients and is very versatile for both indoor and outdoor plants. I will be using this for my spring planting.

The amount of soul you get for the price is one of my favorite things about it. It's enough soil to plant quite a few things or just a top off. It's moist and does a great job getting my plants to grow.
